You may not be allowed to board because your passport expires less than 6months from your travel date. My advise is that you renew your Nigerian PASSPORT. This doesn't affect your US visa but you would need BOTH passport when travelling since the visa is on the old passport.

But l think what Teau was trying to say is that the airline will not allow me to board talk less of getting to the POE for CBP stamping.
Or
What do you say about the airlines? (flights going tp USA)

It doesn't matter for Nigerian, the only thing is that CBP would stamp the remaining months on your passport as your validity instead of the standard 6 months.

please can l use my Nigeria passport with a valid visa B1/B2 (visa to expire in Dec 2021) but the passport will expire in August 2021 and l want to travel in April 2021 by then the passport will be valid for 5 months. please l need your advise, so that l dont have issue at POE.
