Sorry to say, but I see this thread as unnecessary. The battle is long fought and Christ declared victorious...

Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Claiming, celebrating and acting that victory is what we are to concern ourselves with, not declaring another war....#myThought.

Nairaland GeneralPuzzle: Answer Urgently Needed by Enosa1(op): 10:50am On Nov 22, 2014
"Three guests check into a hotel room. The
front desk officer says the bill is N30,000, so
each guest pays N10,000. Later the front desk
officer realizes the bill should only be N25,000.
To fix this, he gives the attendant N5,000 to
return to the guests.

On the way to the room,
the attendant realizes that he cannot divide the
money equally. Since the guests didn't know
the total of the revised bill, the bellhop decides
to just give each guest N1,000 and keep N2,000
as a tip for himself.

Each guest got N1,000 back: so now each guest
only paid N9,000; bringing the total paid to
N27,000. The attendant has N2,000. And
N27,000 + N2,000 = N29,000 so, if the guests
originally handed over N30,000, what
happened to the remaining N1,000?"

Ignoring them is good, but its just a temporary solution. Our Government should enforce policy on child welfare, With that things may improve. If you refuse to buy from them, many others will buy and the business continues.
Since you are a senator,I believe you are in a better position to bring the matter before relevant authority undecided

I do feel sorry 4 them wheneva I see them..what annoys me most is that their parents or whoever sends them to hawk will just give them rotten or unripe fruits e.g cherry to hawk around in hot sun knowing fully that its hard for them to get someone to buy such fruits or goods..some of the goods they give them to hawk and roam about with, are not even up to 50naira sometimes..I see it more as wickedness..- think poverty shudnt be confused with wickedness..its really time for the govt 2 make a law against child hawking.
You've said it all. 'Wickedness shouldn't be confused for poverty'. Many of such 'less privilege' parents will seat at home gossiping or drinking theirselves to hell, while their children are on the street hawking. let me not go into details cause there are many of such examples around. Like I said before, it is better for the parent/guidance to engage in menial labour to fend for his/her ward than to engage them in such. In fact; if you can't take care of them, why have them?

The solution is to focus on our state gorvernors and LGA chairmen's performance on such BASIC things like ensuring ALL our children receive PROPER education from PROFESSIONAL qualified teachers.
Focusing SOLELY on the federal government's performance while these two tiers are stealing recklessly from us is a recipe for continuing disaster.
Nice contributions so far. But we seems to be leaving the parents out of it. In Edo state for example, the primary and secondary school education is free of charge but still, many of such "less privilege" parent won't encourage their ward to attend. BTW won't it be better as a father/mother to take up the responsibility-even if it means hawking-instead of passing it over to the innocent ward?

This is my major reason of considering the thought of ignoring them(i.e,discouraging their guidance from such act)

Nairaland GeneralPatronizing Children(young) Street Hawkers by Enosa1(op): 6:35am On Nov 08, 2014
Walking through the streets of Benin, many streets in Nigeria-infact many parts of the world-its not uncommon to see little children ranging from 5-13yrs hawking goods like purewater, groundnut. Some are also bus conductors.

Whenever I see such, two thoughts flash through my mind.
One is: Patronize this little child so he/she get home on time.
The other:don't patronize the little child,in that way, you discourage such practice.

So nairalanders, what do you do in such cases?

I am sure u understand the above explanation since you have a background in these subject.

Feel free to ask for more explanation if it is not clear enough.

Thanks brother
Thanks a lot for that, its as clear as Crystal.

But the thing is that: I am not talking of using charge controller but normal AC-DC charger. actually, in one of my inverter installation contract, after installing a 2000w inverter for a client. months later the charging circuit of the inverter was demanded by his generator set-which I later discovered was supplying an output of 300v instead of 210-240v input capacity of d inverter.

Since the job was still under warranty, I built a separate DC charger with an output of about 28amps 13VDC output.

But he complains of slow charging...so what will you advice.
