Eight lives have been cut short after a fatal accident involving a Toyota Hiace and a Blue Mack truck occurred along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on June 12.

According to reports, seven of the passengers died on the spot and one more passed away at the hospital.





Sources claim the Edo indigenes arrived Nigeria from Spain for a wedding set to hold in Benin city, in which they were making their way to. Unfortunately, their trip was cut short when their Toyota Hiace collided into a Blue Mack truck and got crushed like a snack. According to the Public Relations Officer, Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, the accident was caused majorly by speeding and wrongful overtaking on the part of the bus driver.

Information reaching us has it that Mr. Thomas Muibo is rich business tycoon who recently passed at the age 79 years and like every well educated senior citizen, he left a Will to see to the distribution of his properties.




But there is a clause specifically written in the Will that instructs his relatives to bury him in his favorite Benz as he wishes to continue riding it in heaven.

As ridiculous at it may look, the relatives saw to the fulfillment of that demand in the Will during the burial of Mr. Thomas Muibo.


Speaking to the Media present at the funeral, Mr. Isaac Muibo the eldest son of Mr. Thomas Muibo explained that, that request is the request of a dead man and despite agitation from other members of their relatives, he can’t disregard the command.

According to Africanews.com, the 52-year-old Charles Obong until his death was a senior personnel officer at the Ministry of Public Service for a decade (2006 – 2016).

His son-in-law confirmed that his Will stated that his wife should deposit a huge amount of money in his coffin.




The money was to be given to God on the Day of Judgement as an offertory so that his sins could be forgiven.

Even though the exact sin was not stated, he asked his brother and sister to ensure that his wife does as he instructed.

Uganda’s Daily Monitor news portal reported that he died after a protracted illness and was buried in his ancestral home in the northern Lira district of the country.
