My question is this " can the Kano Emirates direct British Airway or KLM to hold the plane for one hour? I guess not! This is a private business. If the emirate is worried about disrespect, they should buy a private jet or charter a private jet for the emir. What is more disrespectful is that the Emir of Kano is flying a commercial plane instead of a private jet. Daddy Gs of the pentecostal churches are all flying a private jet and a whole emirate council of Kano, which has been here for centuries cannot afford a private jet but hassle a private company for a seat is more disrespectful than anything.
