Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by ephpremvl: 10:18am On Nov 17, 2017
Hello TS guys,

Please, what we need right now is information that can help those that have done Medicals/documentation and are yet to be called, those that have done AC yet to be called, those yet to be called for AC etc,etc to cool down our temper.

All the information about food, babes, toasting etc in my view is not necessary. These are distractions,am sure that is not what took you there.

Thanks Mayorchelsea and Iamabraham for your kind comments especially for the AC awaitees.

I believe, without any doubt in my mind, that FBN have the capacity to run all these activities concurrently. They have the financial muscle to do it if they want, somebody mentioned here in one of the previous posts that FBN can absorb all if they want to,that is true.

FBN,the largest financial powerhouse in Nigeria with presence all over the world, and have been around for over 100years.
The bank with total asset in access of N3 trillion,no bank in Nigeria have that record, the one stop shop for all your financial transactions in Nigeria.Truly the first.

FBN HCM/HRs viewing this post,we are counting on you guys,to as a matter of utmost urgency, quickly do something for the AC awaitees,to relief tension.Equally remember too that the year is coming to an end,let this be our end of year gift.

The TS guys have been given their end of year gifts by inviting them to the TS(i.e First Academy).

Kindly let the AC awaitees have theirs too.

We await patiently your kind response.

Hello all,

Congtrats to all our TS guys,

Now that batch November,2017 is already in TS and batch January,2018 already know themselves,at least by now am sure they must have gotten their mails invite,I don't think it will be out of place if AC guys starts getting their invites for AC or at least know the dates of schedules so that they start preparing, especially those coming from outside Lagos.

mayorchelsea:
It's Thursday, four days to opening of training school for Team November and no one has been able to confirm/provide concrete update on the issue of accommodation.Would these guys just go with heavy bags on Monday or just go with few clothes to assess things?Only time will tell. For Team January, things would be clearer after this batch resumes.
Be rest assured that accommodation will be provided for all trainees. That is,trainees billed for TS come Monday Nov 13th and January guys.
Also know that what you need is just basic things.

[quote author=Donmexie post=62181880]I got a mail yesterday afternoon that AC was still ongoing...[/quote

Thank God and FBN for this re-assurance that AC is still ongoing,at a point some of us starting thinking maybe NOTHING for AC awaitees.

However,to deepen this re-assurance,we the AC awaitees would want our amiable FBN to segment or stagger dates of AC for the awaitees with dates so that our tension can further reduce to a bearable level.A promise with no fixed date can be likened to "I will see you soon".Is in the next one Month,2 Month,6 Months etc.

For me and am sure for others too,if you tell in the next e.g 6months,I will patiently wait and gladly too.

FBN,please kindly still try for us the AC awaitees.

The different TS dates for trainees, no doubt, will put to rest a lot of tension.Congrats to you all TS guys.I had said earlier in my post, that is the way to go.

For the AC hopefuls,is there anyone in the house who knows when AC hopefuls will be called?.I think if AC hopefuls can have their dates sent to them the way done for TS guys,it will as well go along way in easing tension for AC hopefuls too.Am sure a lot AC awaitees will be getting disillusioned by now.

Relatedly also, regret mails to those who have not made it at whatever stage will ease tension too,as such persons will move on with peace of mind, instead of waiting endlessly, and not sure of what will eventually happen.

Please,FBN HRs viewing this thread, kindly do something to ease tension for AC guys.Reason being that:
(1)It will ease tension.(2)It will give those coming from outside Lagos ample time to prepare financially.(3)It will put FBN as an organization in a good light,as being humane.etc.

If there is any organization I have always prayed to work in,it is FBN.FBN, please don't dash that hope and dream.

Mr Saverin, you can only hope for the best bro. With the way things have turned out over the last week, don't be shocked if you receive a mail for documentation and medicals and make it into the next batch or other batches for training school, keep on hoping and process other opportunities.
Mayorchelsea,
I also share your view, the whole exercise is turning into something else,I would have preferred a situation where they can segment the whole exercise with dates so that at whatever stage you are,you know your date e.g for AC,documentation/medicals,TS. Etc.With such arrangement people will be at peace and wait for their dates patiently.Equally important too is the issue of regret mails to participants who could not scale through to move on.
They can stagger the dates for all AC candidates, same for documentation/medical candidates with dates. With this people will be at peace and plan properly.
Come to think of the whole issue, how can a recruitment exercise span over one year and yet no conclusion date.It is so sad.Is anyone with me on this?

Even without digging further to authenticate the veracity of what you just said; I beg to differ; because your assertion is utterly counterproductive!

Why would FBN adopt the best means of testing and assessing candidates to assess their level of competence and then drop some along the way ON PURPOSE as a result of an age benchmark which FBN itself set in the first place? Isn't the aim of FBN to recruit the best of the best? And isn't the requisite age bracket suitable for candidates not put into consideration before pegging an age range in the recruitment requirements? huh

The word "counterproductive" means: "tending to hinder or act against the achievement of an aim." That's exactly what you are saying here and to me it doesn't make any sense. huh
I see.

Brymo:
Is this bill, necessary in such a time, when most governmental structures are epileptic, is this the only way to stifle the sources of funds 'non-governmentally' sourced for terrorism. I see this, has using a tsar bomba to settle a civil unrest.
Does the content of the NGO bill shows control or regulation?
Digest these documents and see reasons to contend or concur with the bill.
why?
