osinachifestus: Yes, including many that did documentation with me. Meanwhile, lose no sleep, one more batch to go, I heard. I don't see a reason why one should be worried after documentation, you can only be dropped at this juncture on a poor health condition (which is rare) if your documents passed verification. Osinachi, Any idea when to expect more TS mails? |

todyms: In fact, FBN could have just called this batch to do documentation and medicals then automatic employment letter straight. They should just post us to Customer Service unit because with this level of patience and self-control we've exhibited, nothing and no one can get us ruffled again.
(Just kidding) If that is What Divami means(even though he does not want to respond),then he is on point.CBT DEC 2016,AC Feb 16,2018(After one whole year),it is well. |

4oyrsExperience: Please note to kindly disregard the contact verification form mail sent today if you have previously completed the form. Thanks Okay, our Oga,its clear now. But my oga, seriously don't you think if you guys can at least tell us something about dates,it will go along way to assuage tension. For instance, your TS date is so and so date, this will among other things (1) reduce tension (2)Enable those already working to resign properly from their employer to avoid future consequences etc, etc. What is your take on this sir? |

sorzy1: Hello, don't you think the training can take place simultaneously at different locations just like the assessment centre? I just have this feeling that all of us won't be sent to Lagos TS, some might do their own in their regions for example those in the north doing theirs in Kano or somewhere in the North while those in the southern part (east, west and south) doing theirs in Lagos. just my thought sha. 2sorzy1,this your feeling MIGHT be true, since the last AC was not all done in Lagos,it is also possible that the TS may not all hold in Lagos. It is possible FBN MIGHT be considering other locations. |

BTW, who remembers the number of days notice given the last batch, BTW invitation to resume training school and actual resumption? Kentrasso and suzzyrims are asking a very pertinent question which is very important to many here. Please if you fall into the category of those that have done documentation and medicals especially last year and have not been called for TS.Kindly let us know. |

Esthered: I think if you've come this far, you should be optimistic & not overly realistic as those who did medicals last year are & have not been invited to resume TS may be hoping to be invited for TS with this next batch & not thinking as you who just did yours. All the best. I honestly don't know why some people will not take their time to understand a question/issue before responding. If you are in that category,a simple yes or no is what is desired. This is a simple question that does not require a complicated response. |

cloud9usher: I get your point, its mostly in Nigeria you see employers pegging age limits for basic job positions, they mostly do such to reduce the number of millions that would apply, and they also feel the stated age range is perfect for them to get the best out of you during such period, although age limits doesn't necessarily affect performance in general per se but the truth is that they have a right to pick whatever age range they want.
Also, going by your logic, every body is qualified to have applied for this position then, what stops a 40 year old from applying and getting to this point and asking to be pardoned since he has proven performance is not related to age.
Like I said earlier, I'm not an FBN authority here, everyone can try any option they are cool with during documentation, its the resultant effect that would matter and Gods grace and favour does wonders I must say, so you can key into that. I agree with your position that employers of labour have a right to pick whatever age range they want, but you see the situation here in Nigeria is a bit different. This should be considered as well. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by ephpremvl: 12:27am On Apr 12, 2018 |
cloud9usher: I'm no authority here, but from the little I know, you are expected to present your WAEC certificate by all means necessary, even if you had 9 F9's you can present it along with the NECO.
The WAEC certificate issue is no brainer, they know that's one of the most authentic way to verify age, because when most of us were writing WAEC; most of us were below 18 and very few would see any reason reducing their age at such time. Don't u think at the stage of documentation, what really count is wether you are the real owner of the certificate you claim to have and not the age, wether above or below the limit. You see,i don't know why employers of labour neglect performance, ability etc to issues like age etc.Age does not always determine performance or ability.I wish employers of labour. especially in Nigeria here, should stop using this age thing to drive smart intelligent people away. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by ephpremvl: 11:51pm On Apr 11, 2018 |
cloud9usher: Guys, whatever you do, please go with your WAEC certificate, please!
The main source of age verification used by First Bank and other banks is that WAEC certificate, all those affidavits/declaration of age/birth certificates are mere formalities, they can be easily faked.
Whatever you do, take along your WAEC certificate for documentation. Please o,for those who have scaled through documentation, what if one does not have WAEC,what about NECO result? |
