This particular area has the world's highest rate of twins and multiple births. I read sometimes ago that it's as a result of genetic makeup and a type of yam they eat.

Really nice.

Fayose the rock

It's a pity that you are surrounded by Afonjas
Your likes are rare
You did your best to free them but rigging won't let that be...

So long my friend...

Why don't you make him your presidential candidate in your muddy republic.

Peter also cried when he denied Christ.

The funny thing is that those people from that muddy side who pushed Fayose to his ruin have moved on to ruin Adeleke and Ambode. They supported Saraki too and he was humiliated at the primaries.

Now, they have fixed their evil claws on Atiku. They won't stop until he too is completely ruined. Just look at how they're dragging Peter Obi like generator rope.

No wonder the man won't let Uniben girls rest.

i have my PVC and as a matter of fact I made sure all my friends got their PVC... I went to a viewing center(infact it was during the world cup Nigeria VS Iceland) after the first half I stood in the front and asked all the guys to go get their PVC.. I threaten to break up with my GF unless she got her PVC and I made sure she and her sister and a couple of her friends got theirs....
I'm not a member of any political party and I'm wholeheartedly gonna be voting for Atiku and obi not cause they are Saint or I hate bubu but because from my personal performance index I scored baba very low... Let me give you a little example..... I love MOURINHO so much as a person but he is the wrong coach for my team MANCHESTER UNITED so hes gotta go... So you see no hard feelings...

Very good, you match your talk with action.

However, Buhari is winning next year and there's nothing that can be done about that. The standard 12M votes are there reserved and the campaign areas are the MB, SE and SS.

Sorry nothing for baba wey dey sleep

Do you have PVC? No.
Are you a member of any political party? No.
Are you voting on election day? No.

You can now see that an uneducated almajiri child in Jigawa with PVC has more sense than you.

It's people like you who ruined Eleka and Adeleke.

Look at how Igbos are just making a fool of themselves.

By 2019 when Atiku loses, there would be serious political fight in Igboland cos these politicians would be blaming each other.

Then go to the higher court and stop hypothesising on a matter already decided on.

They've not been arrested or released on bail. As at today Fayose' s immunity still holds on 12th October, 2018. He was included while holding immunity and couldn't have therefore been arrested much less granted a bail.

How do people defend the indefensible?

Please provide the suit number for Fayose's suit. Others are stated there, provide his.

Did you actually read my reply to you? I said it's a Federal High Court (FHC) ruling which can still be contested at the appeals and supreme court levels

Till they are contested and the Appeal or Supreme Court rules otherwise, the Executive Orders are perfectly valid as at today.

Your arguments are mere academic gymnastics.

If you choose to remain blind that this is an election concocted order I'm not. I'm old enough to know he used the same method as a military man. Have Tunde Sabiu, Kyari or Malami been arrested or stopped from free movement? Has Kogi Governor, adjudged the worst in Nigeria or Ganduje of Kano caught taking 15 to 25% bribes of up to $5m on candid camera been restricted?

Election concocted order or not, a Court of competent jurisdiction has declared it legal.

Nairaland is not the place for appeals, go to the courts and stop disturbing us here.

For the names you mentioned, petition the law enforcement agencies and supply evidence. Don't tell me the only evidence you have is on Nairaland politics section. grin

The guy you're quoting is hoping that a magical Appellate judgment would declare the Executive Order illegal when a Federal High Court has declared it perfectly legal.

Maybe you should read what led to my summation.

I'm advocating a contest all the way to the Supreme Court because a Federal High Court order exists.

What new information have you provided other than character assasination?

Since you're the chief defender of kidnappers and criminals, when you have appealed to the Supreme Court and they have thrown out your appeal, move to the World Court too.

That's how Ozekhome was defending kidnappers until he got kidnapped too.

Read properly, that's a Federal High Court ruling.
You still have 2 levels above that.

1. Appeals Court level, if they say No,
2. Supreme Court

Infact if it contradicts any international law, which I think it does (UN Charter on Human Rights [Article 13] Freedom of movement), you can go to the courts of the world body which Nigeria is a signatory to.

If you want to be involved in defending the indefensible, at least familiarize yourself with basic law operations in your Country

Lawyers more experienced and intelligent than you argued ridiculously like you before the Court and their worthless lawsuit was thrown away.

Here are a few lines from the Federal High Court judgment dismissing the useless suit.

CilicMarin:
Delivering judgment on Thursday, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu dismissed the suit for lacking in merit and affirmed that the President has the constitutional powers to issue the PEO as long as it does not encroach into the principles of separation of powers.

She ruled that the PEO was issued as a policy directive for the implementation of provisions of existing laws, adding that it also recognised the right of every citizen to approach the court for redress if aggrieved by enforcement of the PEO.

She also held that the interim forfeiture of assets linked to various offences or ongoing criminal investigations could only be enforced in line with the provisions of the law and did not amount to an infringement of the rights of the affected person, who also has the right to approach the court to seek redress.

There's a FHC judgment upholding the legality of Executive Orders.
There's no Appellate judgment setting aside the FHC judgment.

Till then, kindly take several seats and let those who have something to say come forward. In the alternative, use your two legs and walk to the Court to appeal the FHC judgment.

Please, don't you ever tire educating those who don't know. Their corruption is ignorance which can be educated out of them one at a time.

Meanwhile, I doff my cap to you.

Most of them are like Olisa Metuh. Noisy thieves with arrogance fuelled by ignorance. When they come across the law, they think their factory fitted ignorance can cow everyone but their foolishness shows when faced with facts.

Metuh ate papers like a goat, they also end up eating their words. Just look at how they've all been schooled on this thread.

haba uncle, are you a lawyer ?thats pretty wrong, this order is asking that properties of any presumed corrupt officer be confiscated even before found guilty by the court of law sir!

When criminals use proceeds of crime to acquire properties, such properties are usually confiscated pending completion of investigations. That's why you see fraudsters being paraded with vehicles acquired with proceeds of their crimes.

How is that different from what's happening now?
Are you aware that before this Executive Order, this was the same position of the law?

No need to rehash those fancy words. Let the law take its full course. The EO is inconsequential!

The law would take its fullest course whether you like it or not.

The laws empower the Mr. President to make such orders and there's nothing you can do about it. Your opinion is inconsequential.
