Career / What One Thing Will Change Your Life In 2015? by equip360(m): 4:27pm On Jan 03, 2015
Someone said, "Out of a thousand individuals in a room, only two will be thinking differently". This is very true.

In 2015, for your life to be different you have to start thinking differently.

How?
1. Cut yourself off from low thinking friends, colleagues, classmates, etc. Birds of the same feather, will ALWAYS produce the same results.

2. Question every thought, suggestion, gist, etc., to find out whether or not it is true. Seek knowledge in 2015.

3. Speak differently. When others are saying there is a casting down in events, businesses, jobs, opportunities, etc., always speak differently. Say there is a lifting up, and that all is working for your good.

4. Pray. Prayer changes things. No condition is permanent.

Wishing you increase in all your endeavors in 2015.

Education / Have You Asked What It Means To Cross Over Into A New Year? by equip360(m): 11:43am On Dec 31, 2014
Have you asked what it means to Cross Over into a new year?

I'm burdened at the excessive emotions of our black people in reaction to issues (most of which concerns their future). Here in Nigeria we live under so many assumptions. Although assumption is a form of knowledge but it ought to push us to what i call fact-finding, I.e. discovery of truth.

Cross over is a phrase used in most part of the world (particularly Christians) to mean "going into a new year". It is a night when thousands of people go to religious centres for reasons that are absolutely false. You hear statements like "I want to go and confess all my sins before next year", "I want the new year to meet me at a place of worship", "I want to go pray for the coming year", and all sorts.

Someone said that Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. I used to talk like that too and of course I got different results, but different kinds of foolishness.

A new year is meant to usher us into a new phase in our faith, career, relationships, businesses, societal roles and family responsibilities. And for us to grow into this new phase of our lives, there's need for fresh instruction for our businesses, careers, faith life, family roles, etc.

Do you know that the older generation didn't understand the phrase "Cross Over". What they knew was "Watch night". It was a time to watch the night. To watch simply means to be keen and to observe. So it is a time for us to be keen and observe in our hearts what Providence will speak. For He always speak peace and let His children not turn again to folly in the coming year.

So how do you prepare to Cross over?
1. Prayer. Pray from your heart and be meek enough to allow Providence to get your attention while at the religious centre.

2. Attitude. I mentioned meekness in no. 1 above. Only the meek will He teach knowledge, and the humble will He give grace. With this state of mind you're ready to receive His wisdom for next year.

3. Write. Write down all Providence says to you. All He says to you are thoughts or "audio-mages" of a vision that is yet to come to pass in your life in the coming year.

4. Run. By this I mean never lose sight of the instruction(s), even in the face of any seeming adversity. Run with it throughout the days, weeks, and months of next year.

Finally, Cross over is not a night to come and confess sins in the previous year. Even though it seems necessary to receive Divine mercy towards the coming year.

Cross Over means exactly what it says. Therefore make sure to cross over into the next year.

See you there.

Best Wishes
