Mesne profit is a term used for the money you would be paying to your landlord after he might given you a quit notice(during the time you would be searching for another house)

Hello Sir, if you are a yearly tenant, the landlord according to law guiding tenant and landlord relationship stipulates that you should be given 6 months notice and not the 3 months you are glamouring for.

A yearly tenant-6 month notice starting from the first anniversary till the last-if your tenancy commenced on the 24th of November,2009(i.e the date stated in your receipt as the starting date) then a quit notice in order to be valid has to expire on the 23rd of any given month if the tenancy was a monthly tenancy.

If on the other hand, he is a yearly tenant then the quit notice has to expire on 23rd of November,2010 before the landlord would ten give a 6 months notice starting from the 1st of December,2010 to 30th of may,2011.

During the period which a quit notice was given, you would be paying what is called MESNE PROFIT and not RENT to your landlord for the period you would be staying searching for another house

6 months tenant-3 months notice-starting from the first anniversary till the last

Monthly tenant-1 week notice

be you a yearly or monthly tenantand you refused to pay your rent for over some months, you would then become a tenant at will and a 1 week notice would be issued to you and your are gone

We MUST in Nigeria always tell the supposedly landlord with his so called lawyer what they do not want to hear, they capitalised on our(Nigerians) ignorance of the law to deal with their victims.

Like Pastor Ola said, the best way to reducing anger is by praying be u a muslim or a christian. The word of God in Proverbs says that " Anger dwells in the bossom of a fool" From today refuse to be a fool and pray anytime you are angry and God who created you would help in reducing or removing the anger in you.

i have issues with all 4 of em
my ipnx still has subscription on it but i can,t connect to the server


my starcomms was good worked well for 3 weeks and was blocked

swift networks is keeping me in bondage as i have to buy recharge cards from em

my visafone is just for 1 user , do u have solution for connecting multiple users ? please do get back to me asap thanks

Bizzle, if you know what it is to give to you equipment that is worth millions of naira free to you and with a speed that is better than any other ISP in lagos, you would not talk of bondage.
A scratch card is sold to you at a subsidized rate for you to gain, you could go ahead and try other ISPs and you would sure run back I promise.
