If you wrote a separate letter from the form and included in your application then yes it is an additional document.

but on the online form, this was stated

"If you needed to add more information about your
application but were not able to, you can write it
here.
If there is no further information you want to add,
click the 'Save and continue' button.

and i added this,

'Please find attached letter of explanation in respect
of insufficient information on my application for a
standard visitor's visa

so my question is that should i still add it to my Document check list ?

Please i have an urgent question, under document checklist ( additional documents to be submitted) should i also fill "Letter of introduction and explanation letter ? or i should just give it to them to scan like that?
