On Xmas day, on my way to the Novara Shopping Mall I saw a crowd gathered in the parking space of the Life gate Parish of RCCG, Sangotedo.

On enquiry, I learnt that the Church is charitably giving to widows and women without means of providing for their families this Christmas.

Items been shared included quantities of rice in a bag, live chicken, groundnut oil, clothings and other benefits in kind.

This in my opinion is laudable.

I have often wondered what it will cost the Church to give back a little to the society around it.

If the government is failing us, and people are resorting to the Church for solace, shouldn't the Church help a little to solve the misery the common man has been plunged into.

Kudos to this Church and others who are doing same.
