The Boluwatife Estate Community Development Association (BECDA) recorded another remarkable milestone as it successfully hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM), 4th Year Anniversary Celebration, Award Presentation and Fundraising for the proposed Community Hall. The event, which attracted community members, dignitaries, stakeholders and invited guests, was a memorable gathering filled with celebration, unity and a renewed commitment towards community development. The Chairman of the Association, Prophet Adedayo Adelegan (Eri-Majemu), in his address, appreciated members for their steadfast support and highlighted several achievements recorded within the community, including expansion of electricity projects, acquisition of lands for community development, infrastructural improvements and other developmental initiatives aimed at moving the community forward. The occasion was further graced by the presence of distinguished personalities and stakeholders, including: • Chief Ifatunde Akinbode (Baale of Kelemberi) • Hon. Femi Solaja (Ise Oluwa Area CDC Chairman) • Mrs. Omotayo Oladeyi, State Officer • Alhaja. Temitope Popoola, (Area Women Representative) • Representatives from Opo Eniyan Dun CDA • Alhaja Taiwo Oluwafunmilola (Area Treasurer) • Dr. Surajudeen Ramoni Akani (Area Welfare) The event also received media recognition as NTA Abeokuta was present to provide media coverage of the occasion. The program featured award presentations to deserving individuals, recognizing and celebrating their dedication, sacrifices, and immense contributions toward the growth and development of the community. As part of efforts to promote healthy living, the event also featured a Health Segment, where medical professionals enlightened attendees on health-related issues and carried out basic medical checks, including blood pressure and blood sugar screenings. The fundraising exercise for the proposed Community Hall also recorded positive support from members and invited guests, further strengthening the hope and determination of building a lasting legacy for the community. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected joy, togetherness and the spirit of communal living as members celebrated and interacted freely. In his closing remarks, the Chairman expressed appreciation to all executives, volunteers, donors, invited guests and members who contributed immensely to the success of the event.
