Your comparison is baseless,UK economy is the 5th largest,£3.4-4 trillion,GDP is £40,000 -£50,000,while Nigeria is $350-$400 billion and GDP is less than $2000. All these government policies of APC reminds me of Babangida Structural Adjustment program (SAP) that brought everything to a halt and took us years back.Please the idea of telling Nigerians to be patient and make sacrifices are over,if a government campaign promises are not met,we are at liberty to vote after every four years,a word is enough for the wise. |

I want to believe this government should have learnt from the attendant hardship Nigerians are going through just by the pronounment that the era of subsidy is gone.So,why the increase/ introduction in tariff on imported fuel knowing fully well it will increase the landing cost and we know Dangote cannot meet up will local demand currently. This government should try and give itself a human face at least towards her citizens. |
