The Federal Ministry of Education has been caught in the act of collecting bribe before passing staff who wrote promotional examinations into the grade 14 level, esardysevices.com has learned.

Mrs. Lawan, who prefers only her first name mentioned, a staff of the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja while speaking to our newsmen, narrated how she was asked to pay the sum of N650k bribe before she can pass her promotion exam and be promoted to Grade Level 14.


Lawan explained that after three unsuccessful attempts she thought her performances were very poor and decided to find out from her colleagues what the problem was and how they have become successful leaving her behind.

She disclosed that it was during the process that one of her colleagues told her they paid the sum of N560K while others slept with some Directors of Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) Commissioners before they could pass the examination and were promoted to Grade Level 14.

Lawan told our newsmen that she has since been advised to approach her state Federal Commissioner for an assistant or take the option of paying the sum of N650k or sleeping with the Directors.

She, however, said she has since been told not to waste her time preparing for any promotion exams if she is not ready to pay the sum of N650k bribe or sleep with the Directors.

Lawan who said she has spent over 26 years in the service, said she cannot afford to give out N650k or sleep with Directors to pass her promotion examination.

She has since appealed to the government and the civil service commission to uphold the ethics of merits in carrying out promotions.

The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang has said that plans were on the way to sell petrol less than N100 per litre.
Enang said as soon as local refineries begin operation, the price of petroleum products would be forced to crash.
He disclosed this during a meeting with the Domestic Refinery Owners Association of Nigeria who paid him a visit in Abuja.
He explained that the reason why petroleum products prices are high is because the process of extracting, exporting, refining and bringing it back to Nigeria is very cumbersome and expensive.

As we succeed with you, which I believe that we will succeed, we will eliminate and be able to crash the price of refined petroleum product because what makes refined petroleum products costly is one, the cost of freight, sending it abroad to be refined, you pay Port Authority, you pay NIMASA, you pay for chatter of the vessels that take it there, you pay the duties in the in Nigeria, you pay the duties in the country that it is landing, you pay the duty of those countries, you pay the labour of those countries where they refined and then you bring them back, you pay the freight, you pay the vessel if it is not landing early and it is hanging somewhere in the sea, and all that is transferred to the price of the refined products.
And finally you’ll now see that NNPC will put their price, Petroleum Price agency will put their price.

It is imperative that the federal government had increased the price of petrol which makes the association involved too gave a price for it’s members.

TheIndependent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed its members in the Southwest region of the country to begin sales of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly referred to as petrol at N162 per litre.
The southwest Zonal Chairman of IPMAN, Alhaji ‘Dele Tajudeen in a telephone chat with journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, said his members would be left with no other option than to dispense the product at a price of N162.

Tajudeen said, the directive followed the increase in the deport loading price of the product by the federal government, which placed a new price regime of the product at N151. 56k.

Residents of the Kukuma community in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina state have continued to recount how they now sleep on to trees not to be killed by the bandits who constantly attack the community killing many of the residents.

Jumia and Konga no longer sells this curve 7, if u find it there it is from 3rd party sellers. So u are saying if I'm buying 5 u will sell for 20k, then if I'm buying 1 u will probably sell for 25k? For a phone with a DEAD OS. Bros happy sales oh, but I doubt anyone in his right sense would spend even half that amount on a blackberry curve with OS 7 (unless it is a Porsche) You can easily get a used Bold 9900 for N11,500 and q10 for 30k.
