nwakibie3:They are only trying to play to the gallery for it to look like the present administration is fighting corruption after so many goofs. I still remember Sai Baba raising the hand of Gandollar yesterday. |
She should just go and register with an indecency website and start making money while uploading her nudity online instead of stressing herself this way. |

The police command in Enugu State has urged residents of the state to guard their bank details to avoid being victims of fraud syndicate operating in the state. The command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, gave the advice in a statement issued in Enugu on Tuesday. Amaraizu noted that the advice had become necessary in view of intelligence report about the antics of mischief-makers, who tried to reap where they did not sow. He said the command had started to unmask and arrest members of the syndicate involved in the unwholesome act in the state. The spokesman said some of the suspects engaged in the financial fraud had been helping the police in the investigation. “The command wishes to advise members of the public to be wary of disclosing pin numbers of their Automated Teller Machine ( ATM ) cards as well as their Bank Verification Numbers ( BVN ) to people." “This will avoid unpleasant consequences of hoodlums wreaking havoc on their bank accounts,” said the spokesman. He also advised residents of the state to be wary of those who ask to be assisted to withdraw money from ATM points with their ATM cards as such people might be mischief-makers. “Such people only desire to cash in on such opportunity to get their victims’ ATM pin numbers and change their cards without them knowing and thereafter wreak havoc on their account,” Amaraizu said. Activist group, OurMumuDonDo Movement, has announced its plans to organize a mass action on Wednesday against what it described as the longest-ever fuel scarcity to afflict the country. The announcement was made in a statement signed by the group and its affiliates. According to the statement, the mass action will hold at 11 am at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Towers in Abuja. The group noted that for over three months, Nigerians have endured agonizing shortage of crisis, which has caused a spike in the prices of commodities, hike in the cost of transportation and wastage of man-hours spent at queuing daily at petrol stations. It equally noted that despite the inability of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to fulfill its promises, Nigerians have kept faith with the government in the hope that a solution would be found. “We are extremely displeased that President Buhari has failed consistently to fulfill his promise of putting an to end to the fuel problem. The deceit and apathy that have been displayed toward the suffering masses by the current administration totally contradict the mandate which Nigerians gave Buhari in 2015. “Since the lingering fuel scarcity has now reached an alarming crescendo of misery and public outcry, we at the OurMumuDonDo Movement have decided to ensure that the President, the NNPC and other stakeholders in the oil sector are compelled to find a lasting solution to the current crisis and abate the sufferings of the Nigerian people across the nation,” the group said. It accused the government of using propaganda to explain the crisis away, while Nigerians are buying at extortionate prices in different states. The group called on all Nigerians affected by the current fuel scarcity to join the action against scarcity. Signatories to the statement were Messrs. Adebayo Raphael ( OurMumuDonDo Movement), Deji Adeyanju (Concerned Nigerians) Ariyo Dare Atoye (Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy), Bako Abdul Usman (Campaign for Democracy) and Moses Paul (MAD Connect). The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that the attempts at concealing a N10billion fraud perpetrated by the officials of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) have shown that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari stinks and has lost all honour. The PDP made the declaration in a statement issued on Monday by its spokesperson, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan. The opposition party was referring to an exclusive report on the theft, which showed how the recently reinstated Executive Secretary of the NHIS, Professor Yusuf Usman, and other officials made unauthorized withdrawals from enrollees’ funds in two installments of N5 billion each from the Federal Government’s Treasury Single Account (TSA) in the Central Bank of Nigeria, which is under the direct purview of the Presidency. According to the PDP, the country is being pushed daily to the precipice by the Presidency's incompetence. It added that it is the height of hypocrisy for a government that is superintending over illegal withdrawals and theft stealing of funds to parade itself as fighting corruption. The PDP stated further that the only logical explanation for the concealment is because the Presidency was complicit, while the stolen fund is being used to service members of the cabal around the President. “Nigerians can now see the level of debauchery associated with this administration. It is appalling that a government can be so depraved that it superintended over the stealing of money meant to provide healthcare for the citizens. We challenge the Presidency to speak out on this report as well as similar reported sleazes that has occurred under its watch,” said the PDP. It wondered who in the Presidency authorized the withdrawal of the money from the TSA and who the beneficiaries are. It equally wondered what the Presidency will say about the revelation that it ordered the reinstatement of the indicted Professor Usman to help conceal the illegal withdrawals and shield members of the cabal around the President, who were involved in the deal. “Until and unless the Presidency clears its name by investigating, exposing and prosecuting those involved, it must directly be held responsible for this wicked act against Nigerians, who daily suffer hunger, depravation and death owing to the corruption in the All Progressives Congress (APC) government,” stated the PDP. It called on Nigerians and the international community to note that the Presidency failed to act on the leaked memo showing the fraudulent award of $25 billion oil contracts at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), an agency under President Buhari’s direct supervision as Minister of Petroleum. It also added that the Presidency has refused to explain the alleged involvement of its officials in various shady oil subsidy deals as well as reported diversion of N1.1trillion worth of crude in 2017 to service the interests of the APC. “Nigerians are aware that the Presidency has continued to shield fraudulent cabinet ministers, including those known for extorting funds from agencies under them, in addition to those indicted for corrupt enrichment. Indeed, this government stinks and has irredeemably lost all honour,” said the PDP.
