Is Snapchat the new affiliate marketing money spinner? Facebook is firing on all cylinders in the social media space with the acquisition of WhatsApp and Instagram. But one social media platform which is still holding its own against Mark Zuckerberg is Snapchat. While the social media platform created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown, has not fully been explored as a marketing tool. It is without a doubt, promises to become one of the biggest internet marketing tools soon. In this article, we will show four way with which you can turn this fun app into an affiliate marketing machine. 1.Show Off Teasers of Affiliate Products Snapchat only allows ten seconds for viewers to see each content that you put out and this can be used to your advantage because this would give them a glimpse of the product you are selling and make them hungry for more. A subtle hint would keep them guessing and help create a buzz for your campaign. Exclusive Offers The fact that Snapchat posts expire after 24 hours means it can be used to offer exclusive deals or codes that your followers can take advantage of immediately, if they interested. This would make it easier to push CPL offers when you add the links and photos of the campaign that you want to push. Premium Access Content Snapchat gives you the opportunity to choose/select your target audience, with this, you can easily pick out your most active followers and send them exclusive offers. This way you can push CPI offers and follow up with the users directly so they can follow through on your request. You can also offer loyalty discounts which will make your customers feel special. Create A Brand Story The “My Story” can be used to engage your customers because you go into more details on the product and satisfy some of their cravings for information on the product. The fact that it is not time consuming means you can captivate their interest with less work. Host Contests Contests are great ways to engage your customers, and with Snapchat’s cool features like drawing tools and filters, you make your campaigns more fun and rewarding for your consumers. You can create contests where customers can submit personal photos or videos using these tools to win great prizes or discount codes. This will create an engaging two-way conversation between your consumers and your brand. It is common knowledge that having a personal relationship with your audience enhances your conversion rate, and no other social media platform gives more room for this than Snapchat, where you can have fun and make money at the same time. The family of the abducted Lagos monarch, Oba Yushau Goriola Oseni, has said that an undisclosed amount was paid as ransom before his release on Saturday night. The monarch’s son, Saheed Oseni, who confirmed the release, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the first class traditional ruler returned to his palace “hale and hearty”. Oseni said the family had decided not to disclose the amount paid as ransom but confirmed that the family paid to secure the release of the kidnapped royal father. “We paid an undisclosed amount for his ransom which the family sourced without the involvement of the Lagos State Government,” he said. “I was involved in illegal bunkering. As this government stopped bunkering, our leaders arranged another group and this mission of the new group was to start kidnapping and use it to manage ourselves since we can’t do oil bunkering again. We had to stop the business because of the renewed onslaught of government’s security agencies against us. I am a married man, I don’t have any job to do. We used to do security for those main guys and anytime they make about N500, 000 they will give us like N20,000,” he said. Oseni, the Chairman, Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU),Lagos State University (LASU) Chapter, said the traditional ruler returned through the waterways around Iba expressway. According to my father, the kidnappers had put him in a canoe and asked him to paddle it to the other side of the river, which he did.
