Congratulations to him!

He should step aside and allow younger people run the church while he advises from behind-the-scene.

His sermons are now extremely boring and uninspiring

Oshimen no play anything today my take
Their change of style caused it and I still don't know why they had to change the confirmed attacking style that got us so many goals already. I d prefer that we'd even lost with 90mims play our normal attacking football honestly

Honestly, why the sudden change of tactics today? I would have preferred we play our normal attacking side and lose within 90mins. And we could have won the game. Anyway, weldone to the guys

Fayose should be properly monitored. He can do anything for Wike to remain in politics as it guarantees the safety of his personal interest. He is a very good man. But full time politicians who have lost their grip on the national cake could be dangerous to good governance.
Nigerian politicians are all the same, pursuing personal interests.

Godfatherism
Slave trade

When obasanjo was president, did he control Lagos?
When Jonathan was president, did he control Lagos,
Buhari challenged tinubu when tinubu tried telling him what to do,
Buhari said: u can't be in Lagos and telling me how to rule,
Tinubu is fond of that, he wants the whole Nigeria to belong to his family ,
If u all don't open ur eyes , he wants to rule like Iran president and all other president that don't want to leave the presidency,
U hear obasanjo or Jonathan put mouth for him matter since he became president?
But he tinubu will want to be on top of everything they do
This looks offpoint

I don't know about you; but to me, this looks like an enslaved or defeated mentality. Or, a mentality in captivity
The main problem is that Sanwo Olu, Fubara ascension to power were not by merit but purely sponsorship by some forces and this is the outcome of such help. Except they chose to leave you to work freely, they often have machinery put in place to checkmate / control beneficiaries of such system.

Everyone taking sides on Wike vs Fubara matter is only a busybody honestly because none of us was there when agreements were signed. We must indeed be after getting people to power without being handpicked, forced on us. As long as we continue to be lazy to do the right things, this whole drama will keep repeating itself. I don't blame Wike, I blame Fubara. You can not eat your cake and have it. But, sane Nigerians must rise up and seize the process and make it work.

Politicstoday:
Wike vs His Ambition

I read that Fubara has traveled to France to meet with Tinubu. Good. But I doubt if there will be a public showdown between the presidency and Wike.

Tinubu may not speak publicly about the Rivers crisis again because he is not someone who talks a lot unlike the parrot in Rivers, who boasts and issues threats over every move he makes.

Tinubu went out of his way to intervene once and took sides with Wike suspending the governor for 6 months, yet Wike is still attempting to disrupt events and cause endless chaos.

Tinubu understands something critical that if Wike, who is neither president nor someone with Tinubu’s political structure or reach, succeeds in impeaching Fubara, he will become larger than life, and with access to the Rivers treasury, Wike could amass enormous power and eventually pose a threat to Tinubu himself.

We saw a glimpse of this in 2023, when Wike bought off PDP delegates, until those who understood the political chessboard countered him by merging Atiku and Tambuwal’s delegates for Atiku. Tinubu witnessed all of this and knows exactly the kind of political force Wike can become when backed by money.

For this reason, Tinubu will maintain his silence, but he will cut Wike down to size by ensuring he no longer has easy access to funds. At the federal level, Wike no longer controls money the way he once did. What remains is access to Rivers' treasury, because if he loses that, his ambition to be VP or President is dead. So, this is about survival for Wike. And he will rather die than have what will buy him power taken away from him.

The Rivers crisis is about one man's ambition to control Rivers and forcefully be your VP or President in the future. Wike should be resisted.
You are wrong and only wielding sentiments here. The whole drama is deeper and neither Wike nor Fubara is a saint here. Until all of us,the populace stop the lazy game of lame just doing online analysis ant get more actively involved in the electioneering process, the status quo remains. Those 2 guys went into some unholy agreements behind the door and the governor never deny this. You and I can not prefer to be judging who is right or who is wrong.

Fubara is not better than Wike, let's stop all the sentiments pls. And for your information, there is no ground whatsoever for Tinubu to go against Wike in this matter being a godfather himself and someone who understands all the dynamics involved. Wike remains loyal to Tinubu course and is delivering heavily in Abuja. At last, Tinubu will still prefer to standby Wike having tested him already.

Moreso, wike is not so daft not to have entered into some agreements with Tinubu in 2023 before throwing his weight behind the president. Fubara is the betrayal here. If he had entered into any agreement as an adult, he should fulfil his own part. If he is not principled enough to fulfil his own part or resign, then he is the only cause of the whole unpalatable drama we are all witnessing
PoliticsRe: Fubara: Lawyers Move To Recall 26 Rivers Lawmakers, Writes INEC by eslek5: 1:27pm On Jan 09
Afriifa:
I still don't understand Rivers People.
I am an Ijaw and delta Ijaw to be precise, and spent some of my holidays in my grand maternal home in Abonemena. I have had my experiences as a partly a Rivers person from childhood. These happenings have shown that the sophistry of Rivers people may be exaggerated because clearly, I don't understand how a state filled with smart, industrious personalities and prominent people from all sphere of life cannot sit down and resolve the greed of one mad person called Wike.
Did all the smart people stop or prevent Wike from campaigning everywhere and other politicians when they were busy doing the dirty jobs that produced your governor? When they repeatedly say to themselves "agreement is agreement" that statement is deep. So, Stop the bias and sentiment I beg.

What did your governor agree with them that he has refused to fulfil. If you are pure, tell Fubara to resign or why does he hold on to the benefits while crying out to the innocent rivers people for help. Do not allow Nigerian politicians use your head pls. They are all the same and in this matter, Fubara is worse for thinking he can hold on to only the benefits
PoliticsRe: Rivers Crisis: If Tinubu Does Not Stop Wike, Wike Will Stop Him - NDN by eslek5: 1:14pm On Jan 09
Nackzy:
Tinubu God brought wike to destabilise you
You only simply hate wike. And you don't have to like him. That's the truth. Tinubu understand all the details and as the grand godfather of politics in Nigeria of today He will never prefer an untried, untrusted Fubara with an established, confirmed, loyal politician like Wike. Let's stop all the sentiments.

Lesson for all of us: If you because of desperation for power and fame go into agreement with characters you do not plan to be loyal to, then expect no peace.

Honestly, why can't Fubara resign if he is a man of integrity at all. They campaigned for you, did dirty jobs for you and you get to the post and think they won't place demands on their investments? He should resign or else, Fubara is a worse character than Wike. Let's stop all the sentiments pls.
PoliticsRe: APC Leaders, Tinubu Support Groups Demand Sack Of Wike At Abuja Rally by eslek5: 1:18pm On Jan 08
magoo10:
Tinubu will never sack Wike because he needs Wike more than bread and butter.
No other tinubu supporter whether from the southwest or wherever has the kind of liver Wike have to defend tinubu.
In all the noise of jagaban this jagaban that Wike is about to prove that he is the man behind the jagabandist.
A lot of people seem not to see deeper than the surface. I ve read things well and my conclusion is Wike is the loud version of Tinubu. Speaking politics, Wike's influence in Nigeria politics of today is more than 7 APC governors combined. I can say Tinubu likes Wike kind of politician because he has always got soft eyes for touts and violent persons that speak in His favour, MC Oluomo and agberos of Lagos are good examples. So, I see the president empowering Wike the more because He is more sure of results from Wike more than any other politician around him, not even APC Secretariat. If you follow Wike's current thank you visit to Rivers LGAs, you will know that guy is already a principality in politics. Although, I don't like their style but it's working for them at least for now. Anyone wishing Wike a sack is only myopic honestly. That guy, as at now, is Tinubu right-hand man.
