You still don’t get it. I am talking about the availability of arable and cheap farmlands. My grandfather had a cocoa plantation in Rivers state before the war. So I know that cocoa will do well in the tropical climate of SE. As for onions and co, they will germinate , no doubt, but they may not do so well as in the dry north.

Relax my friend. I said he sounded like an internet farmer, not that he is one. Moreover the concept of “cheap land “ is relative. You can’t compare the prices, size and availability of farm lands in SW to SE. SE doesn’t have much landmass and hence, land is scarce and costlier.
