Has anyone been able to collect their passport from August onwards from the Nigerian High Commission, after they have gone through the application already at the High Commission? I ask because on the Nigeria High Commission site, it says from the 1st of Aug, no one will be seen without an appointment date from a third party site. I take it that doesn't apply to those coming to collect their passports, and only those booking for an appointment to apply for a new/renew their passport? Thanks |
Does anyone know how long the embassy keeps ur passport for you to collect? |
Thanks for the response. Has anyone been able to successfully re-schedule their appointment date, as it will be high-nigh impossible to make it on that date, and any attempt to re-schedule per their instructions just gives me the exact same date. Anyone who has been able to re-schedule their appointment successfully, or knows how it can be done, do let me know. Thanks |
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, or at least give some advice. Trying to renew the passport after 5 years at the NHC in London, however after going through the instructions (at http://www.nigeriahc.org.uk/passport-requirements), having printed the application form, the acknowledgement slip, and the payment confirmed slip, I then proceed to http://nhc.3tb.co/ where an appointment is supposed to be booked per the instructions at the Nigerian High Commission website, even though a date has already been given automatically on the payment confirmed slip, but per the instructions I will not be allowed in the building without the printouts of the application form, acknowledgement slip, payment confirmed slip, and appointment date. This is where I have reached a brick wall, as the site http://nhc.3tb.co/ states clearly in red scrolling text that "Please note the embassy no longer accepts appointments booked using this website". Any attempt to select an appointment I am met with an error that "The application ID must be 7 characters long", when the application ID per the application form, acknowledgement slip, and payment confirmed slip is 8 characters long, so it simply will not allow me to submit an appointment, not to mention that warning in scrolling text. All attempts to contact the NHC have been met with no response. I certainly don't want to travel all the way to London on the date on my payment confirmed slip, only to be told to go back as I don't have an appointment date. Has anyone successfully booked an appointment with the NHC per its instructions on it's website recently? I would be very interested on suggestions as to where to go from here. Thanks, |
I managed to find the windows xp repair cd, after following your instructions, I am now met with "A disk read error occurred press control alt and delete to restart" I am met with the same error msg on pressing control alt and delete to restart. |
Is there any other option if I do not have access to a windows xp repair/installation cd? |
I wonder if anyone can help, I recently switched on my windows xp sp2 on my dell pc, to be met with this msg "Loading pbr for descriptor 2, done" "bad pbr" I cannot access the operating system at all, and I do not have accesss to the winxp installation cd, or repair cd, I have tried rebooting with all wireless devices (mouse and keyboard) removed, but still the same msg "Loading pbr for descriptor 2, done, bad pbr" Any help on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated, only thing I can access is pressing F2 and going into the bios options, and selecting which device to boot from, the default is the sata drive, but as always the same error msg. |
