You guys don't seem to know anything about shipping business. That area is very notorious for piracy,kidnappings and militant activities. This will make shipping insurance cost very high. The same way people talked about calabar free trade zone back then.
Upon all the noise and investments, ships don't come anymore. The cost of shipping 40ft container from US to Lagos is about $1500 while from US to Calabar is about $4500. Ask me why, it is because of the high level of piracy in that particular side of the Gulf of Guinea that makes the insurance cost shoot up.The same area Ibom deep sea port will be located.
Make your area safe so that investments will come to avoid divestment.

Nigerians should be careful when dealing with wakanow. I booked an airpeace flight from Calabar to Abuja (round trip) on the 12th of July 2018. The money was deducted from my account and I received a mail confirming my flight details with booking id 1807120**1598.
To my surprise, I received a call from them a day to my flight that I will need to add N10,000 to the N52,633 already paid. I was very furious and I told them I don't have any other spare cash to add. They told me I should give them my account details to refund the money which I did.
After almost 5 months, they have not refund my money. I contacted their customer care over 12 different times but to no avail. In fact they have stopped replying my mails. Nigerians should be careful dealing with this company as I am beginning to see them as a fraudulent company due to my personal experience with them. Mods pls do the needful.

Now that some APC Presidential aspirants have discredit APC convention, Even if Buhari win the election, Tribunal might upturn the election in favour of second runner up if PDP can proof that APC convention is illegitimate.
