Has anyone here else who had their interview this month gotten their passport back? Mine is currently in-transit and seems to be strange to me that my passport is in-transit just after 10 days of interview. I know I have to wait to see what's in the envelop but is this normal?

Based on the post you quoted, it might depend on the VO who interviews you. I had the option of Biology or basic medical questions ( what is HTN? Questions on CNS and so on), so I was given basic medical questions. They were simple so chill.

Check if the signatures are different. If they are, I think it’s possible to make an affidavit for signature differences, and good news, there’s an electronic system for it now.

Please, I was called by the embassy to upload a valid driver's license of my father because he signed the deponent. I have done that but they said the signature does not match. I don't know what else to do again but he was the one that signed it.

If you are using expatrio, based on my experience, sending euro to the block account, confirmation was less than a minute

Search for Dr Walter Educare24 or Provisit. There would be an option to start paying for it when you get to Germany.

I have a quick question as regards documents o be taken to the embassy.

As regards the photocopies to be made of our original documents (passport and certificates), are they expected to be coloured photocopies?

This question also relates to all official school documents. Do they have to be coloured when printed?

I think an official document or receipt from the school detailing that they have received your payment might be better. It’s what I am doing

My School is insisting I apply for a Leave of Absence for the second time because of Exams deadlines for Sommer Semester even after I requested for Late Arrival Certificate.

Thank you for the prompt response. I would look into rescheduling. I had considered it, but wasn’t sure it’d fly as the second application is dependent on uniassist and my evaluation is still in progress.

I’d update the group whichever way it goes.

Try and reschedule your appointment while getting an admission without tuition, unless you intend to pay the tuition amount. The VO will look at your admission letter and ask you to make that payment


When you get to Germany, you can decide to switch to the school. If you can't afford such fees, please avoid applying to such schools. "Prestige" is not a thing in Germany.

Hello everyone.

I am new to this group and I need clarity on tuition

@hannania, I have an admission to a state (public) school but my course has tuition. On the checklist for study visa, it’s stated that applications with admission to private schools should come with proof of one year tuition to the embassy, however, I have also heard that regardless of the school, If tuition is involved, proof of one year tuition has to be made available. Can you or any other person kindly confirm this?

To give more information:
1. The course is the life science management course with HTW Berlin.
2. Tuition is €16,000
3. Based on current information on the group that I could read, I might be getting AD by next month. I applied 8th of September 2023.
4. The school has a 50% scholarship I applied for with decision to be received in June 2025, so fingers crossed.
