Yes, I make mushroom suya and it's very yummy

I have seen where Oyster mushroom suya was made because the chew is like shaki.

Fresh mushrooms usually wouldn't last more than 3 days even when refrigerated.

You can stir fry and freeze.

Simongm:
We used to havest lots of it back then in my village, but it doesn't last up to the next day without having maggots.
The only way to preserve it then was to cut it into pieces, add salt and sun dry it that very day.
@op, what's the best method to preserve it.
