The premier league delivered another entertaining weekend in match-day 6 of the 2022/23 camping. Chelsea recovered from their mid-week loss to Southampton with a narrow 2-1 win over west ham after the hammers were denied a late equalizer by VAR. Defending champions Manchester city were held to a one-all draw by struggling Aston villa. Southampton could not capitalize on their mid-week win over Chelsea as they suffered a 1-0 loss to wolves. Manchester United vs Arsenal match kicked off at exactly 4:30 pm this evening and after 12 minutes of action we got to see the Gunners open the scoring at Old Trafford, after Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net effortlessly from Bukayo Saka's pass. Any of Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham could be drawn against La Liga and Champions League title holders, Real Madrid, in the group stage of this season's UEFA Champions League competition. With the draw set to take place today, we have looked at the toughest teams those Premier League clubs could be in the same group with. For the draw, the 32 teams that qualified have been grouped into four pots, each having eight teams. The rule is that teams from the same country can't be drawn against each other, as well as teams that find themselves in the same pot. Pot 1 will have the Champions League holders, Real Madrid, and Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt. It will also contain the teams that won the league title in the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Eredivisie champions, Ajax, took the spot of La Liga title holders since the Los Blancos are already in the pot, having claimed the spot left for last season's UEFA Champions League winners. Following Monday's 2-1 loss to Manchester United, Liverpool has no wins in three Premier League games. Jurgen Klopp's team has also conceded first in each of their last seven Premier League League games dating back to last season. Bournemouth needed penalties to defeat Norwich City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. Bournemouth have now lost back-to-back games to Manchester City and Arsenal after winning their first game of the season. They have conceded seven goals without reply in those two games.
