It'll be better if we stop looking at things from the religious angle. The issue on ground is beyond religion; its more about getting the best permutation that'll help APC secure as many vote as possible and save Nigeria out of this state of cluelessness we are currently facing. If there's anybody today in SW who is as popular and generally acceptable like Fashola APC would hv gone for him be it xtain or muslim *Maybe Mimiko if he had gone to ACN. A SouthEast VP will get APC nowhere because they've alrdy made up their mind to vote GEJ no matter what and anybody who comes out is seen as a betrayer. But a Fashola V.P is a very prolific boost because they'll be able to secure bulk vote from SW irrespective whether he's a xtain or muslim due to the cult-like support he has in the SW. Now add that to the bulk vote GMB will get from the North...this' really a big cause for worry in the GEJ camp because with a Fashola V.P all those religious permutation will be thrown into dustbin. This' not the best if time for PDP I swear...they didn't see this coming!

Totally agree with you. Whats wrong with a Fashola-Amaechi ticket (to woo SS&SE voters) or a Fashola-Elrufai ticket (to woo northern voters). These are people with proven administrative credentials. Buhari has nothing to offer Nigeria IMO and he still hasn't cleared the air on those extremist comments he made in 2001. If we're serious about getting rid of the PDP next year, we must be present flawless and workable alternatives to them. Why present extreamist Buhari as an alternative to the PDP when we still have an islamist insurgency in the north, or the overnight billionaire Atiku, when Nigeria is still a hotbed of corruption? Those are not credible alternatives to the PDP
