My opinion. Press d power burron almost simultaneously wen u switch it on. If it displays on ur screen, then there is hope. Look 4 d software an wake it up or beta stil, u can do a firmware transfer frm another decoder using d RS232 cable. Ensure its d same model an quality like urs.

The easiest way to revive ur box is to look for a similar box and do box to box upgrade

E don happen sey ur box don bricked be dat. The tory side be sey,u claimed sey na fake box,which means,no technical guild on how to unbrick am from the manufacturer wey do d box. But from the lite wey dey d box show sey na bricked e nor die. Hope small still dey for you if you sabi how to waka am.From my small experience,I believe sey d box stop during maybe update or you install fresh something inside am,dis are common things wey go turn ur box to sey make e nor work as normal. Nepa fit still cos am,during firmware update/upgrade. So I advice you make you try these steps to see if you fit resurrect am from deep sleep.
Step 1:Knowing the pre-installed firmware and downloading it.
Step 2: You go get null modem cable RS232 plus a compatible pc,d one wey support rs232.

Have you tried ASTRA 28.2E?
Download DishFinder app from APPstore or Andriod. I recommend you use it to check the satellite around you.

You need to check the sat that broadcast the channel from your location by using your Andriod/iPhone phone to scan first. You can download any of the satellite finder app from playstore or app store.

For those of you who has iPhone any iOS provided is not 9.2.1 and the latest firmware locked it iCloud activation. Good news for you. You can now unlock your iCloud iOS device with these simple open-source Technics.

Well, DST* may have control over beams within the subsahara that can be nailed on 90cm and below but beyond that it's out of their control..

The sat providers are bias towards us.
Sky UK was initially available on 2.4M, then moved to 3M, later 4M dish and now it's 5M dish.

But have you tried andriod dishponiter to see if those satellite are available in your location.?

The European satellite providers are very selfish when it comes to wider beam coverage.

A recent example is with the European beam on yahsat 52.5e (11843v27500). As of 3weeks ago I could nail the channels @70% while the MENA beams were 74- 77%.

The moment Varzish sport (FTA) moved to that transponder, the signal disappeared here while all the western European and Arab Magreb countries can nail it on 60cm.

I still nail the other MENA beams including the recent one that came up about 3days ago.

That means you are in Europe, and from what you have lined up here, those are not African beam, that means your stuff is basically for guys with big dishes(3m and above) but if you care to provide the test account, I can run the test with my 2.4m dish. I believe you have nothing to lose.
