FAQ'S About Relocating to Canada

No reference was made to the age limit which is made known in the Federal Express Program & the Provincial program option.
Answer:
First both the Federal Express Entry Program and the PNP do not have age limits for application, you can apply at age 50 or 60 if you wish. The fact however is that, the older you get the lower your point for age is. If a 55-year-old man gets sponsored by his brother in Brandon, Manitoba he will likely get nominated. If not, he can tip the scale by getting a job there.
With that said, the Home Childcare Worker Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot are not age-restrictive. All you need is a job offer from a Canadian employer. For instance, if my company in Canada employs Mrs. Tina from Nigeria who is currently 50 years old, she is instantly eligible. She can choose to come with her family.
Let me drive this home, there is a scarcity crisis for Home Care Workers in Canada at the moment, so if you are even 60 years old and a Canadian employer sees you fit and offers you a job, that's all. The only factors that can hinder a successful application will be major health issues or criminal history of the applicant.

About Relocating to Canada
Question 1.
Do I need to apply for PR at the same time with the work permit?
Answer:
While you apply for your work permit, you are advised to apply and pay for your PR too. After 24 months of working, all you need to do is send your evidence of work (pay-slips, bank statement, tax payments, employers reference letter etc.) and you get your PR.

The advantage of that is that you have pegged the price, you will not need to pay any additions if the PR application fee increases. I also believe it influences your getting a successful approval, though unspoken.

However, you can apply and pay only for the Work Permit. I recommend you proceed with getting a job first, until you get to that point. The Work Permit Application fee is $255 per adult while that PR Application fee is $1040 per adult.

Uisce:
OP, re. the video. Baptist Health is in South Florida, not Canada. In USA we've aid workers. My wife's a RN at a Hospital nd did aid work during her Nursing school days. In Canada they've support workers but you've to go to school to get this job , same in the US. Stop telling people they will have a job to resume as soon as they arrive in Canada, US. They cannot get the job right away, they need the required education first. Give people the right information, pls
Please read to understand....
I simply wrote that the the education requirement is low. Through other immigration programs, for example, the express entry requires a very high education credential. You will need a master degree or two separate degrees.

Not that they don't need to go sch.
you need minimum of 5.0. IELTS SCORE

You can simply enroll for short study certifications in Canada to boost your resume (CV)

And if you are eligible to follow this route you get a occupation specific work permit... Wich allow you to work in the home care you applied through..

Workers who have an occupation-specific work permit will be able to apply only to those companies that have vacant positions and approved Labour Market Impact Assessment (“LMIA”) from Employment and Social Development Canada (Service Canada)

The One Thing I Hate About This Canada Relocation Process.

Hello.

So, I have received quite several emails from people about this
Canada relocation route which to me is good.

But I will be sincere with you.

There is only one thing I don't like about it.

It's simply the fact that when I get to Canada I will have to wait for at least 24 months before getting my residency
permit.

But that said.

Does that mean you should not jump at this GOLDEN opportunity?

Let me paint a picture for you.

Most people that relocate to Canada either through the express entry or provincial nominee program need to really prepare before going. They need to arrive in Canada with enough money to carry them through seasons of seeking a job. Sometimes it takes about six months before one gets a job.

Which is why I prefer this home care worker pilot.

It's more or less a hidden sweet spot even though you don't get to have your permanent residency yet.

You get a job waiting for you to resume to the moment to step your foot in Canada.

You know that at the end of your first month, your money is hitting your account which you can use to take care of your rent and other expenses.

And you go with a sense of confidence knowing that you don't have to bother anyone once you leave the shores of Nigeria.

And lastly.

While you work during this period within this industry.

You can simply enroll for short study certifications in Canada to boost your resume (CV) which you can start to use right after you have collected your permanent residency.

So, you can see the upsides to why you should look at applying for this as an alternative route to relocate to Canada.

Regards,
Queen

Speaking about the home care industry.

The Home Care Providers industry in Canada is a growing industry, with a multitude of diverse companies offering services to grow the healthcare markets.

Industry providers cater largely to the elderly population, which is growing at a rate exceeding the national population growth rate in Canada, as well as to individuals suffering from chronic illnesses and disabilities.

It is a $4.3 Billion Industry.

For us in Nigeria here.

Think of it as having a home or center that is centered towards taking care of our elderly parent, and workers are paid between $2500-$3500 Monthly [N750,000-N1,050,000 Monthly].

Now that this is now clear, here is what you need to know.

There is a massive demand for people looking to work in these organizations/companies. They are willing to give you an
employment letter which you can use to process your work permit.
See some evidence
https://globalnews.ca/video/5273538/the-provincial-government-is-being-urged-to-deal-with-the-serious-shortage-of-care-aides-in-the-okanagan-and-beyond-a-situation-many-call-a-health-care-emergency

Just having this letter signed by the company removes the need for you to any proof of fund in your account because you have a job on your arrival.

Secondly, when you get this job anywhere in Canada, you are allowed to move with your entire family. Your partner would also apply and will be issued what is called an OPEN work permit that will enable him/her to work anywhere or do business in Canada.

So, if you are sharp, you will immediately see this as a clear pathway to Canada - it is legal, cheaper and faster. Your spouse works as a Home Support Worker while you work anywhere else. Let me also add that the home-care work isn't gender-specific. I'm sure you know that there are male nurses.

So, if you are an unmarried man, and you genuinely want to relocate to Canada, but it seems, though, try this route. Benefits of Home

Health Care -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNIEtj2yVpc

All you have to do is write your IELTS exam, score a minimum of 5.0. Trust me - your primary school niece will score that. Next, you do your Credential Evaluation while you get your work permit processed.

And one last thing I love about this program is that...

You are getting to Canada is to resume work and start getting paid right from the moment you enter Canada.

So, you don't need to be worried about what other newcomers bother about - that's waiting two to three months before they get a job. However, you will need to sort out for first-month rent knowing that you will start getting paid at month-end.

Your job in this home care industry is already settled before you and your family buy your flight tickets to move to Canada.

Here are few more insights -

Via this immigration program, you will apply for both work permit and permanent residency visa. You will get the work permit visa before your leaving Nigeria. After working for 24 months as a home care support worker you can then apply for a Permanent Residency Visa. Once receipt of your Permanent Residency Visa you can choose to remain in the home care industry or switch to another.

To convert your Permanent Residency Visa to a Canadian Passport you will need to stay in Canada for a total of three years within five years. Or two years in five years to renew your Permanent Residency Visa.

This might look seem like a lot of information, that’s why I recommend you watch this video presentation

I will also share how this can be used even outside of this industry in the next few days.

You will learn how to do it yourself right from your laptop to start your application.

Anyways... Let me stop here for now.

hope this was useful to you.
