DeevaB: I will be starting college in Halifax this March and I am currently booking my flight. I found a route from Lagos to London,UK and then directly to Halifax.
Can I book this flight and receive my study permit at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, or do I need to arrive first in Toronto or Montreal to get my study permit?
Thank you. Lufthansa has a Lagos - Frankfurt - Halifax route. Yes, they will issue your study permit at YHZ (Halifax Standfield Int'l Airport) |

Family › Re: My Dad Wants To Settle Me With 7 Million, I Need Advice. by evb2000: 4:14pm On Apr 15, 2025 |
relaxfun: A little back story.
Due to some ugly circumstances, i dropped out of school in 2019 and I've been at home since then, periodically picking up one or two low paying jobs. 2 years ago, I decided to learning a tech skill. I taught myself C++ programming language and I'm currently teaching myself mathematics aggressively, studying for min of 8 hours daily.
For the past two years, I've mostly always been in my room, I can be in our house for more than two weeks, without stepping a foot out of our door due to how engrossed in studying I always am. My goal is to learn C++, DSA , And Math to an undergraduate level then use my skills to apply for scholarships to study abroad, and probably work in a hedge fund company as a quantitative trader in the future. For those who know what leetcode is, i can currently solve most leetcode (hard) problems in less than 40 minutes.
Now, I'll be 24 in August, and my dad is worried that I'm wasting my life away because I've refused to pickup any real job or learn a trade, his worried that I'm already getting old, always reminding me that people my age are already getting married. Now he wants me to leave his house to go look for my own place to stay, and has offered me 7 million naira to go start life else where.
Now I plan to move out of Lagos to PH or Akwa Ibom, then use part of the money to start up a computer business center, where I'll be doing typing, printing, lamination, jamb registration, GCE/WAEC registrations, etc. One of the reasons I chose this is because I've worked in a place like this before and I have experience in how to run such a place. Another reason is that, this business would give me time to also study and sharpen my Math/Programming skills. I plan to rent a shop that is big enough so that I can also be sleeping/living there.
Now I seriously need advicing because this is such a turning point in my life and the next few years is going to make or break me because there is no room for any disastrous bad decision You seem intelligent. However, go through my dairy to learn one or two things. But if jakpa is one of ur plan, then a degree is a must. Get your first degree and ensure to graduate with minimum 2.1. Then, the ball can be set rolling. 24 is not too old to go back to school. The degree will open the door u need to showcase ur skill. |

I'm done with KDP if they don't restore this account. Sorry to hear this. It is sad. I told someone recently that there is a crackdown on accounts with Nigerian IP. Some persons have used VPN and still got terminated. Why did i say this, i have not been asked to verify any of my accounts and I published more books with all going through. It is quite unfortunate that the honest guys are been collectively punished because of a few bad eggs. Even my mentor had to leave the country because of the continous restrictions Nigerians face on the online business space. |

bea1234567: Na lie guy.
After Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Albanians.. Indians are the greatest scammers on Earth yet Amazon hardly terminate their accounts..
Infact, the average Indian on Amazon kdp dey churn out books like water.. Indians are more cun ny than Nigerians in every way.
Even me I h ate anything Nigeria with passion but I'm saying the truth here cos I was also affected.
Amazon has blacklisted Nigerians but to me I just found a beta way to manipu late the system with no risk.. (Yes I said so because a fo olish Indian customer agent from Amazon terminated my account.. if it was an Indian account they'd reinstate it immediately)
I'll continue churning books out on Amazon like a rabbit gives birth.. I have no regrets.. Anything that works for you. |

Thanks. Two accounts gone in less than 2 months. I'm tired. Why do I and the other legit hustlers have to suffer for the sins of others? I guess we're stuck here with the bad eggs. It is quite unfortunate. They are now running amok on Youtube. |

smartlad: cuz you nigerians r scammaers This was harsh. However, the deed of a few desperate people has rubbed off geniune authors. They ran kdp like yahoo boys and it affected everybody. I saw this coming and did all i could to leave the country. It is just too obvious that Nigerian IPs are blacklisted on amazon kdp. |

dreamxhaser: Wow! Thank you so much for this.
But assuming I discover a niche of 150 or less. What do you think should be the maximum competition? Between 1000 to 2000 is a fair one. |
