Hi guys, I have been offered admission to study for a masters degree program in Paris. School resumes on 25th September. I have paid half of my 1st year fees of €5500 as well as 2 months accommodation. I have 4m left in my account. Please help answer my few questions and concerns.
1. Is 4m in my account ok for a favourable visa decision?
2. I currently work and hope to resign upon departure. Do I need to provide any proof of working atm?
3. I have no travel history. Would this affect my visa application?

With 4m I strongly believe you are good to go. my sponsor had 2.7m with good in and out flow and I had just 1.6m in my personal account and I got the visa. I had no travel history too. Your Cv should show your employment history and attach your salary details if possible. just work on your Statement of purpose. you will get it.

. You don't have to, I applied 19th June and I got my Visa 24th July, Student's visa precisely. just be cool.

Do they normally send text message?

mine is more than 15 working days already. no message. I am a bit confused. I thought students visa is faster?

Anyone going to Universite Grenoble for this 2017/2018 session?

student visa should be around 45k, hold nothing less than that, for everything.

I thought French students Visa takes 15 working days. from my observation here they attend faster to Erasmus scholars. please anyone in the house that has gotten visa recently that is not Erasmus scholar. how long did it take?

. My sponsor's statement was printed 19th April and I went to campus France May 23rd. I was asked to print a more recent statement before submission at vfs

Don't be, mine is also as low as that, Universite Grenoble, Alpes. even university Jean Monnet, university lille 1, have low tuition. Only if they have your desired program

Congratulations @Sadoz, I would like to know more about the documents you submitted especially the the balance of the bank statement you submitted.
