Lamakinde: According to UKVI website, you have permission to stay. 4. Family reunion
Your partner or child can apply to join or stay with you in the UK if:
you were separated when you were forced to leave your country you’ve been given asylum or 5 years’ humanitarian protection but don’t yet have British citizenship Your partner or child can’t apply if:
you haven’t received a decision on your asylum application you’re under 18 If their application is successful, your family members will be allowed to come to or stay in the UK with the same permission (‘leave’) as you.
Noting the last part, you have same permissions as the person you intend to stay with, so you can use a one way ticket. Thanks |

ekpotek: Never heard of a UK family reunion visa. It is either visitor visa, work visa, study visa, entrepreneurship/investor visa or dependent visa. Only the visitor visa require a return airline ticket. Hope this help. Thanks for the help, and its a dependent visa. |
