My point of reference is simply the last few years. I have not gone into public v private because the same logic stands. You can actually find the data for private flights only and apply the same logic. My simple point to you is its not enough to say, there are more flights and that is enought to satisfy the question. You have to do the proportionate analysis. See the percentages and that is where the answer lies. I am glad you said you at least understand my explanation.

Okay, but this is my last effort: Lets say that in 2015, you have 1000 flights and 10 crashes. That means one per cent crashes.
According to your logic, if there is an increase in flights the next year, to 2000 flights, and you have 100 crashes, that is ok because there is an increase.

What you dont see is that the former year had one per cent of flights crashing. The next one had five percent of flights crashing. Therefore the rate has clearly increased.

So its not enough to just say, there is an increase, end of story.

You look to proportions and percentages.

Because the way you are going, its like you want to say if there is an increase by 10 flights, there must be 1 more crash. No - You have to ask if it was normal for there to be one crash per ten flights before.

But why do we always find excuse for everything that go wrong in the western world? Okay? Agree they have a perfect system where nothing goes wrong, where no one get hurt, but can’t it happen sometimes that a perfect system get some leakage that need to be fixed?
