They are toothless. Nigerians have been suffering fuel increase since. May 29.

After the reggae play the blues

Nigeria is the only country i know where those in power go to court to stop strike action

You dey beat person but say to the person, dont cry

UK nurses and doctors have been striking for 2 years. Not a day did UK approach the court

Naija na cruise
Exactly, always running to court to stop their move because they want to keep inflicting pains on Nigerians. NLC has proved to us that they are not toothless dog.

I thought Helinues and the other Tinubu media cows said that the strike will fail?

You think it's by fanning the flames of religious and ethnic discord? You think that will work this time??

What happened to Ajaero could've happened to Adeniyi or Bashir. Tolerating it will set a very terrible precedent that will eventually lead to the complete desolation of all workers unions.

It should NEVER be accepted. NEVER!
Don't mind them. Now I respect NLC more. No be only FG fit disobey court order. Iranu

Story looks like defamation. By the date on the UK visa posted her entry into UK expired since 2021, how come she was spotted in Heathrow last week.
Also bringing her family into a case she only was involved is the highest form of character assassination, and defamation.
I hope nairaland gets sued to thier pants for this. You can't allow your platform be a weapon for destroying people's hard earned reputation and name when there clear guidelines for such cases.
Interpol, NFIU, EFCC are all effective in cases like this but you rather come to nairaland to destroy family names
Story!
Do u the know the pain, agony the families of her victims are going through now? Infact all her generation names should be on social media

NLC is now a political party serving the whims of Peter obi the presidential candidate of the Labour Party who was served a bloody nose by the apc
And instead of nursing their wounds in peace they’ve decided to stylishly use the NLC to disrupt activities in the country
Nigerians should resist them by all means
Which Nigerians? The ones Tinubu has plunged into more poverty and hardship? The toothless dog has Become a lion. NLC should give it to FG wotowoto. Useless government and supporters.

The NLC has replied his tantrums with facts on ground, not minding FG's useless threat with useless court order.

The time has come for major showdown between NLC and thîefnubu. Those houseboys thîefnubu appointed to attack NLC should get prepared for a fight. It has begun. cheesy cheesy

I think that President Tinubu is looking down at Comrade Joe Ajaero with a combination of disgust and suspicion. Reason why a needless bloody assault on him was considered a non-issue in spite of his high profile position.

One thing is certain, if the NLC president was brutalized and nothing happened, then the days of labour protests and picketing as pressure tools are over.

Yes, the current economic realities may make it difficult for President Tinubu to meet all the demands of the Organized Labour and NLC/TUC are aware of this but Tinubu is currently on the high horse of 'disgust and suspicion'. He needs to come down and reach vital compromises.

If former President Buhari had a smooth relationship with NLC and compromised on removal of fuel subsidy for peace, how much more Tinubu who prides himself as a political strategist.

In conclusion, I believe NASS should amend vital Labour laws to insulate serving NLC and TUC leadership from partisan politics in this case Labour Party. It will help when NLC and TUC are negotiating with FG. The current situation is untidy given our local peculiarities.
Who plunged us into this mess initially? Who stupidly announced subsidy removal without first settling down and meet with the stakeholders.

Shut up, did you read what he said?
You just rushed to comment and use the headline to make your news ****

Most of you can comprehend a simple sentence but will be in a haste to spew rubbish, if you had a working brain, you would have understood what he said, he even told them what to do next.
Because your brain is empty, that's why you opened the gutter of your mouth to call someone a bastard, how am I sure you know the meaning of bastard?

Even your LP-elected legislators could not rise to be a different voice in the legislative houses, their no voice on the purchase of 170m vehicles could have made others see reasons, but the hungry ranters like you who are equally searching for their bellies kept quiet.

NLC have genuine reasons to embark on a National strike, but they chose the worst reason for it.
U too shut up ur damn smelling mouth. Not everybody can be carried away by their emotional talk as if they care for the masses.. See sufferings everywhere nah and u are here spewing rubbish on social space. Alakori

Osho make Sense today. The Labour leader is not fighting for the interest of the suffering Nigeria masses. He's fighting a personal fight.
How come it was when election was near in Imo state that he decided to stage a protest.
You cannot be an NLC president and be partizan. You have to come out clean and see if the people won't back you up.
For those quoting me,I guess you were to lazy to read the details of what Oshiomole said. You only read the headline and start squirting trash from your mouths.
I read everything and all I see is hypocrisy. These politicians keep brainwashing people like you with emotional talk. Wait! Are u happy the country is in a big shamble where people now see suicide as a way out? The same oshiomole did worse during Obasanjo administration that wasn't even as bad as this. This fight isn't about Ajaero. It is about the survival of a nation. When u d poor can't feed anymore, they will come for U.

What yeye agreement. Even NLC said it's all about the beating Ajaero received on his partisan mission to Imo state. What kind of useless union leader goes to a state to cause trouble a few days to election. Their demand below posted on their official twitter handle.

If Achonu had won the election, the stupid strike would not have gone ahead because there would be no Hope Uzondima for him to continue fighting.

NLC leaders still do not give a damn about the masses.

You're the most shallow-minded person on this thread if you think the beating is the only reason for the strike.

Also, I don't know if you lots reason through your anus. Do you know what means to best up the NLC chairman? It's ajaero today, tomorrow it could be the chief judge. Next tomorrow it could be someone else. The people in power are pushing the country into anarchy and you lots are too blinded by partisan politics to know it.

Nigeria at the moment is only working for a select few who steal our collective common wealth. Please NLC continue the strike.

The "toothless dog" has finally bitten, none of them asked why FG didn't keep to their agreement, they're all here defending foolishly.

You guys spent 8 years foolishly defending Buhari's ineptitude while he ran the country aground. You guys are back to defend tinubu's ineptitude while he buries the country.
