Such a truly hilarious thread! I have been giggling all along since I came online to revisit the loaded comments. |
Hullo House, Any heads-up on the areas of focus of EH test would be highly appreciated👍🏽 |
The questions come from any direction e.g. your field of study, research proposal, school, current affairs, community affairs, international affairs. Just keep an open mind. duchess90: |
No, they asked for certificates but no specific mention of FSLC was made. However, I submitted my FSLC alongside WAEC and degree certificates. eweheg: |

My guess was right. That message from the consultant was misdirected to me. I now can confirm having received my CBT invitation via email. excellentus: |
Just like some others have remarked here, I haven't received an invite. This morning I recalled that last year some invites were sent later after the first dispatch so I sent Mr Godson Ideozu an sms notifying him that I was yet to receive an invite hoping there might be an opportunity for a subsequent invite. After 1 hour, 41 mins of no reply from him I put a call across to him. Still there was no response. Earlier this evening I got an sms from him that reads: "Your application was disqualified." Whatever informed that decision is what I don't know. I wonder if anyone else has a similar experience or if that was a mix-up because I never heard it during the past selection processes. |
Dear brothers and sisters, indeed, there's no need for all the fuss about the 2018/19 scholarship award, we've been yearning for. Those of us who have been following the trend of the scholarship programme would readily agree that there is nothing predictable about it. My suggestion would be that, at the moment, all applicants should concern themselves with making good preparations for the assessment(s) that will come, whether it be CBT, oral interview or both and pray that our efforts yield definite positive results. To my mind, most of the statements made here as to timelines are largely speculative and at best anticipatory, and should be taken for what they're worth. There is truly no basis for any mischief-making and, or ego contest on this platform because we're together in this. There isn't anything to profit from throwing tantrums at one another and struggling to outwit the other person. Rather, let's show remarkable meekness, genuine understanding and a good dose of tolerance towards one another. Too, it is important we try to show some discretion in our use of language and how we peddle information. Any information that isn't verifiable isn't really necessary here because it won't do us any good. Considering that this scholarship thingy is a serious business for a lot of people here should we take it too seriously? I think the answer is No. Should we rather sacrifice providing useful information and solutions on the altar of merely entertaining or argumentative posts? I equally think the answer is No. Putting it all together, we should see ourselves as mutual keepers and find it fitting to refrain from exhibiting any untoward attitude that is capable of complicating our present situation. Enduring may last for a while but joy comes in due course so let's, in every venture as in this one, realize that it pays to keep hope alive. Hope, when married with faith, has a way of becoming the passport of entry into an unknown future. Thanks and have a happy new week! |
Imagine how frustrating the late payment of the scholarship could be to NDDC scholars. NDDC Scholars should rise up to the challenge and give this unbecoming story the widest publicity including but not limited to doing an open letter to President Buhari and the Senate President. By the way, where are the media peeps_ the acclaimed fourth estate of the realm? This is a sellable one for you. The greatest problem of man is man, but again, man is the solution. We are the ones to make it right. Well wishes. |
