ade101: Profitability of poultry biz depends on season. if target festive period then You will gain a lot. Although you could still profit at non festive seasons. Being your first time, i would advice you put all your energy into producing healthy broiler for now. As they say -health is wealth. You should start looking for buyers by 5th week. so for now, take kia of the birds.

I'm an ermeging broiler farmer I bought 40 chicks 4practice as I hv neva raised a chicken b4. My chicks r 3weeks now goin on 4Thur. I will buy 200 chicks as soon as my chicken coop iz finished, the current chicks stay in a house bt no1 sleeps there. I'm plannin on sellin the chickens @6 weeks hope they'll b fat enough. I hope 2sell 1500 chicks per cycle 1day if the market allows me then I'll mk plenty of cash. I'll post pics for yoll.
