What a very parochial view did you just expressed above. Are you simply misinformed, unlearned in history or just trying to court attention? Evil was removed from Nigeria in 1985, then Babangida and subsequently Abacha followed. Do you any idea of the trajectory Nigeria took afterward. Are you aware Babangida contributed to the proliferation of both official and individual corruption that has held Nigeria in manacle ever since, ruining public institutions and wrecking the nation's international reputation? Are you aware of the level of human right violation perpetrated by Abacha.? Do you know how Abacha converted the gain of oil boom to his personal wealth? Come on, young man. Do you know that Babangida ushered in the total neglect of public education system, even to the basic level? How he allowed secondary teacher to go on months of strike over unpaid salary, something that lasted for over close to four years?
