A defender is a defender irrespective of club &system. Just do your job as a defender, take a bit pressure off the Goalkepper with decisive clearance, have an understanding with your partner, engage the DM infront of you, Maguire lacks positioning, lacks confidence on the ball, sometimes he lacks concentration, so slow, wayward passes mostly, sometime I wonder how man utd paid such a whopping sum of £80M for such a mediocre.

van de beek spot at the bench is sure.. van de beek isn't a special player.. he's more of a lingard type, that runs into spaces to recieve the ball and pass the ball to the next player or shoot.. my problem with him is that he always plays safe. He only passes the ball to the 1st player he sees.. he's not a creator like Bruno, that's why he couldn't bench Bruno.. I don't see eth benching Bruno for him, as Bruno is more of a technical player than him. Bruno is class abs not a bad player.. the issue with him is that when things don't go his way on the pitch, he trys to force things too much..
