Tuanzebe put up the best defensive performance of any Manchester United defender against Mbappe and Neymar and after that, what next, he returned to the bench. How do you gain momentum when the coach doesn't play you often? Lindelof will have a bad game yet Ole will still pick Jim for the next one.

If Ole allows for fair competition I'm quite sure Bailly and even Tuanzebe will push Lindelof to the limits for a place in the team...

Don't mind Expert..... thank God he's not a Manager. Matic to him is our best Midfielder. Henderson to him is better than DDG - Henderson that has never had a complete Season as United No. 1.

Injury is his problem, if he had stayed fit from time, he would be one of the best in the league. From the time of SAF, he and Smalling showed good pairing. Remember their introduction when we beat City in the Shield under SAF

The season Bailly featured prominently for United we finished 6th- 16/17. The next season when we finished second (17/18) he was mostly injured.

You used your confusion to confuse me. My bad.

1. That season we finished with the best defensive record, was it down to Bailly’s heroics or the low block everybody-behind-the-ball defensive system Mourinho deployed?

2. Which player contributed the most to that defensive record? De Gea? Bailly? Smalling? Jones? Rojo? Is Bailly>> Smalling in that system?

3. Man United signed Bailly in June 2016 for 30m pounds. That’s 5 years ago. Is it okay for a player to be available for selection for just one year in 5 years? No be say he wasn’t injured and the coach didn’t play him or something o.

Answers on a postcard please.

I knew that that Bailly wouldn’t be up to scrap. Hes so unaware of his surroundings. He loses concentration often. Pair him with another average defense and the result is mayhem.

I expect him to be injured for most of next season. That’s why I didn’t want his contract renewed. He’s just looking to make a buck.

This thing is funny, when we say Manchester United should be challenging for the EPL, you will ask when last we won the league or challenged for it as if to say we are not good enough to win the league but the same you will say the Caraboa and FA Cup are small trophies...Are we too big for the Caraboa and FA Cup yet not good enough for the league? So, if we can't win the league, we shouldn't win other available trophies abi?

I said save of the season. - Maguire or Bailly will not help any goalkeeper to win the save of the season award. It’s an individual achievement.
