Many americans are warn by the government to watch their back becasue of the nigerians scammers.

@EXPONENT:
Sir, can you substantiate this claim that you're making just a bit more? Under what circumstances do these so called false claims present themselves, for example? Perhaps then one could determine if there is a reason (or even a justification) for what you observe.
Sure,

I've met Africans all the time. for some reason, I'm in an AFRICAN urban zone.

Two nigerians I met said they were from Cameroon.

As I was outside talking to one Nigerian, I'mentioned that (insert name here) said he's from Cameroon.

The Nigerian dude got offended and said 'HE'S FROM BENIN" I said oh, he's from the other side of Nigeria.

He said NO! He's from Benin, Nigeria - he lied to you.

Why would he lie about his place of birth?

Hi, family!

Uh, oh, a disbeliever in the midst?
LOL!, jeskiddin, i take your outlook on my future prospects with the same way i look at the pros and cons of anything in life.

There are alot of things about HolyMic that will prove you wrong.

I'm a very resilient character, I'm not getting into perishable agriculture such as tomatoes and I'm willing to take a wager that i will last more than 24 months.
I've done more than 24 months in a federal prison, i compare my freedom stuck in the land of my birth as more prison and I miss the lawless aspect of Nigeria which I believe can be used in a more productive manner.
My Father (R.I.P) has left his kids some land, which I propose to use for my biz, and a house, which none of here are in a hurry to lay claim to.
Mum who is still alive also has land and property in Nigeria. Both my parents are from Ogun State. The land/property is in Lagos and Mum also has a bit of land and a house in her hometown.
That takes care of spending, being duped by land owners (yes, my folks went through that already and finally had to use black magic to sort out the last fool to try them, may he not rest in peace, yes he is dead)
I'm not your regular JJC. Thank God I look younger and more harmless than I really am or can be but I tell you this, Nigeria's struggles when i get there will be nothing i've gone through in the West.
I appreciate your comments as it is in truth. A FEW people do try to come back but some swiftly return to the comfort of social care and free lodging in the UK.
Hahahahahhaha, the UK is so my enemy now if you asked them they'd tell u i'm one of the most dangerous British-born Nigerians on the the set.
At the same time I'm not stayin here anf doing my young man gangsta no mo'.
Mikey is older and wiser now, and hopefully more resilient to standing Cockroaches and mosquitoes now!!! LOL, they are my only worry/hate/fear!!
Humans? Snakes? When and if legend comes out of my younger days in the motherland you'd know I catch serpents with my bare hands and I used to train martial arts in the National Stadium back in the day.
I gots no worries bout all that except as you say the outcome of my agricultural venture.
I have no fears or worries of coming back home and I can also contact myself out in the IT industry if and when i have the time.
Mikey stubborn ooo, very stubborn boy!!!

Thanks for your insight but it has only made me look forward to the trip back home because if i can't make it there then it means i can't make it anywhere, then maybe a self started bizness may not be the thing for someone such as me.
I highly doubt this though, money means survival and survival means many more things.

Have a nice day, I have to go feed my American Bulldog, I'll be coming home with a few of them and pitbulls as security for the biz.
LOL!

Peace, family and stay blessed!!!
LOL!!!

The locals are going to whip yo azz!

Naturally Nigerians would attack the messenger INSTEAD of the issue.

That speaks of internal guilt.

and Tpia , KICK ROCKS.

The question is why do Nigerians LIES about being from a country other than their own.

It's real simple.

ANWSER THE QUESTION!
CultureWhy Do Nigerians Lie And Say They Are From Another Country In Africa? by EXPONENT(op): 4:15pm On Jun 21, 2008
I've encountered this on the REGULAR!

Nigerians are saying they are from Cameroon with great frequently.

When you ask them from what geographical area and tribe they fumble their words and stumble through more lies and act all surprised.

Why are you ashamed of being Nigerians in America?
