Thanks for the information... you forgot to add the cost of setting up your milling plan to extract the oil. Depending on the standard you want to achieve you might need food grade stainless steel for your equipments.

The cost of labour are not realistic... please adjust the cost to reflect the reality of today's price for labourers.

As he has said, there is no limit to how much money you can make in palm oil business. And there is a market for thr end products both local and international.

POTENTIAL REVENUE ANALYSIS

yield per acre is between 500 litres to 1,500 litres within the 3 year to 5th year while it will increase towards 1800 litres to 2400 litres at full maturity of the plants starting from year 6 and above .pls note planting of superior grade of F1 tenera and supergene and addition to adequate fertilization can only yield this result . .A farmer can make between 1.8m to 2.4 million PER ACRE at full maturity of the plantation if palm oil is sold for 1000 naira per litre at current price .

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

# Year 3 to 5 ,under good farm management the plantation is capable of yielding the initial cost of investment and cost of farm set up while subsequent years are for generating returns on investment .

# Yield of oil palm tree is mostly dependent on two factors which are natural factors and human factor .natural factors such rainfall and sunlight and human factor such as timely weeding and fertilization determines the annual yield of palm trees .

# it is worthwhile to note that cost of running and mentaining an oil palm plantation reduces significantly at full maturity when the plants form canopy to prevent sunlight from getting to the ground thereby prevent growth of weeds .At this stage cost of mentainance reduces while profitability increases .more fruits bunches are produced while cost of weeding is reduced .

# It is worthwhile to note that palm oil which is our major product is being sold for between 1000 to 1500 naira per litre .it is expected that the price of the produce will increase due to inflation in the next 3 to 4 years when the plantation will be ready for harvest .this will put the owner of the farm a leverage to make more returns on investment because of increae in the price of litre of palm oil above the benchmark price quoted as at the time of setting up the plantation .

# products such as palm kernel oil ,palm kernel cake which is used as animal feed for pigs,cows,goats etc are also produced from the processing of palm oil .they are also highly marketable and they serve as another stream of income that brings more return of investment to the owner of the plantation .

# .infrastructure such as farm house which could be mud house or block and water source which could be a well should be provided on the farm so as to make the farm inhabitable to the farm workers .The water well will also provide water to spray herbicide when controlling weeds on the farm .
