Special One reckons facing quality opponents like Reds star he tried to buy for Chelsea (twice), Inter Milan and Real Madrid has made him a better manager

Steven Gerrard will help form a guard of honour for Chelsea’s newly-crowned champions at Stamford Bridge on Sunday – but Jose Mourinho has already handed the Liverpool skipper a glowing tribute of his own.

Kop idol Gerrard will always be the one that got away for Mourinho – who tried to sign the Scouse maestro twice during his first spell at Chelsea, then struck out again at Inter Milan and missed with one final try when he was Real Madrid boss.

Mourinho claims he failed because Gerrard has a ‘Red heart’ and could never play against Liverpool.

If that is any sort of dig at Frank Lampard, who left Chelsea for title rivals Manchester City last summer, then it is only a slight one – because Mourinho believes the ex-England teammates were the two best attacking midfielders in Europe at their peak.

And although successive Three Lions managers failed to solve the riddle of how best to use the duo in tandem, Mourinho believes they would have won trophies together at Chelsea – and should have done so for their nation, too.

The immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has defended his performance in office, saying he made life better for the people of the state. The ex-governor said he could not indulge in the distribution of rice and money to woo voters, an act which is now commonly referred to as “stomach infrastructure.” He described the act as an insult to the people and a mockery of governance. Fayemi spoke during a programme on Channels Television titled, “Politics Today” which was monitored by our correspondent, on Monday. He said during his tenure, teachers in the state became the highest paid in the country, adding that he ensured that civil servants’ salaries were increased thrice during his administration.

dalex11: Please can someone help out with signing up for adsense. I have been rejected several times. Need help

banjicom: Maybe you have 2 wait for sometime, it will still show up.

For how long have u been expecting ur pin.

It 4 weeks+ now.

banjicom: How to request a new PIN
If you haven't received your PIN, or if it has been
lost, you can request two more PINs. To make
sure it has enough time to reach you, you'll need
to wait 4 weeks after your last PIN was mailed
before requesting a new one.
To request a new PIN:
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click the gear icon and select Settings.
3. In the sidebar, click Account information.
4. Click the Verify address link.
5. At the bottom of the page, click Request new
PIN.
They will then mail a new PIN to the address in your
account. If your original PIN arrives first, feel free
to use it; the replacement PINs are just duplicates
of the original.

Thanks bro, I have check it but there is no where showing Request New pin at the bottom, I don't know if google adsense has change the location.

How do I re-request for the my verification pin, I'm not seeing any where to re-request new pin.
