Few weeks ago was Xiaomi Redmi 4A, today, the MIUI 10 Global official Stable update makes it way to Xiaomi Redmi 3s, Redmi 3S Prime, and Redmi 4. Users of this three smartphone phones are currently receiving the update over the air (OTA).

The arrival of the update to this devices was made known on the Xiaomi forum. However, the MIUI 10 update based on Android 8.1 Oreo brings a full screen experience, new UI, natural sound system, and revamped Clock, Notes, and other system apps.

The MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM V10.1.1.0.MALMIFI update is rolling out for the Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime and the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM V10.1.1.0.NAMMIFI update is rolling out for the Redmi 4.

As said earlier, the update is rolling out via OTA, we recommend users to download it via a strong Wi-Fi connection, and at least 80% battery charged before installing.

To check availability of MIUI 10 Global Stable update on your Redmi 4, Redmi 3S, and Redmi 3S Prime, head to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for updates.

For manual installation, Xiaomi has shared Fastboot and Recovery ROM download links for the three phones. For the impatient fellows, you can easily sideload it through these links below.

WhatsApp strikes again with new two amazing features which is now available for WhatsApp beta users. The updates to its Android beta app key new features are called Consecutive Voice Messages and Group Call Shortcut. One of the new functionalities enables WhatsApp to play multiple audio messages consecutively, while the other provides a shortcut button for users to make group calls.

Both features are not available for WhatsApp for Android beta testers as of now, and will be remotely enabled in the future. According to observation, the code of features have arrived for Android users with beta versions 2.18.362 and 2.18.363. However, the same features had previously rolled out to WhatsApp beta for iOS.

The Consecutive Voice Messages feature enables the WhatsApp Android app to play consecutive voice messages one after the other. The feature works when WhatsApp detects two or more voice messages. All you need to do is to tap the Play button on the first audio, following which WhatsApp will automatically play all the other voice messages in a sequence. As mentioned, the feature is only visible in the code of Android beta version 2.18.362 app, and will reportedly be remotely enabled.

Coming to the second new feature, the latest WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.18.363 bring UI changes for group calls. This feature was earlier spotted on WhatsApp for iOS. When the feature rolled out to your app, there will be a new group call button in group chats. Once you tap on that button, it opens up a sheet with all the members of the group.

However, you will have to tap the audio or video call button to start the group audio or video call. WABetaInfo notes that the feature is disabled by default, and should be remotely enabled in future beta updates.

On Monday, Intel announced its latest Intel XMM 8160 5G multimode modem which is aimed at providing 5G connectivity to devices including mobiles, PCs, and broadband access gateways. Awesomely, this multimode modem support peak download speeds via 6Gbps per second (6GB/s).

The new Intel 5G modem will be available in the second half of 2019 (Around June). With its new single-chip multimode baseband capability, the new Intel XMM 8160 5G modem will allow device manufacturers to design smaller and more power-efficient 5G capable devices.

Also, it eliminates the need of installing two separate modems for 5G and legacy connectivity. Intel's integrated multimode solution supports simultaneous connectivity (EN-DC) for LTE and 5G, allowing for backward compatibility to 4G if 5G networks are not available at any moment or location.
