It is hard to see a yoruba that will write without tribalism. The lagos government wants them to pay for regularisation then if not for tribalism, demolition is not the answer |
The lagos state government should remove tribalism from governance. What lagos state government did is wickedness in the highest order. This is defined harshness of the lagos state government. There are ways to compel the people to adhere to the law without being This heartless. The government of lagos state should have taken them to court without taking the laws into their hands because they believe impunity works in Nigeria. We are talking of property related to businesses here. The growth of these businesses contribute to the overall growth of the economy of lagos in particular and Nigeria in general. If there was a competent court order pointing out that their buildings would be destroyed if they don't comply, believe me that they would have mostly complied. The government should be seen as a father as such you don't beat some of children as if you don't want them to survive the beating if truly you are a father. Compassion should always be shown no matter the bribe involved. |
Ebonyi state man is talking rubbish he knows how to talk best. He is now the mouthpiece of igbos |
Let Nigerians continue to pay taxes so that you government officials will see enough money to embezzle? |
This government has failed Nigerians. The mode of operandi of this government is to collect more from the people via tax and other similar government policies and give them less. When they say they made more through non oil sector, they are simply referring to increased taxation while the politicians continue to loot the treasury. |
What is the benefits of the masses? Will it not be embezzled? |
You have collected your palliative. That is why you are now comfortable |
How about euro? Why has it continued to go up |
You that is supporting this government, which means they gave you the position you are looking for. On my own, systematic analysis of this government is that it wants to continue to increase the revenue base of its administration via continuous tax increment and at the same time making government services expensive to the citizenry and residents. This government is comfortably and aggressively looking for ways and means to collect more money from the people through its policies. The government doesn't believe any of its services should be made affordable. This is why majority of Nigerians are suffering today. Chemical1: |
So a collapsing naira is now an advantage to Nigeria? What is the purchasing power of the people? |
If you gave power of attorney to the banker and he relied on that to defraud you, the bank might not do much. You said it was terminated in 2022. Who signed the termination letter? Note that the bank said you had personal relationships with him. The bank could not had said that without evidence at its disposal. If you contracted the banker to be running your account for you that might personal relationships with the banker. If you decide to go to court, what will happen is for the court to ask the bank to tender evidences that you had personal relationship with the banker. |
The economic policies of this government have caused endemic hardship in Nigeria. Empowering 1000 people in a country of over 200 million people amounts to favoring the few. |
How much has the government borrowed so far. They are marketing themselves but the reality on ground is that there is hunger and hardship everywhere. Let all these reflect in the life of the citizens and residents in Nigeria. |
Useless project. Means of embezzlement of public funds. |
Whose money is she donating? Hers or Nigeria's money? |
What are Nigerians even going to ghana to do? I blame the government of Nigeria for all these. |
You are uneducated that is why you can believe anything. An educated person doesn't believe everything he or she reads or hears without considering whether it's logically possible. Obi was massively voted for because majority of lagosians believed tinubu had nothing to offer. How can somebody believe somebody migrated to lagos just to vote. How did the person register for the voter's card? Collected the voter's card, Lodged in a hotel close to the polling unit since there would be restriction of movement? The person did all these just to vote for Peter obi? Were igbos camped in any location just to vote? Nevertheless a Nigerian citizen who is in possession of a valid voter's card and can locate his or her polling unit can vote for his or her choice of candidates. Always reason before you believe. helinues: |
This government doesn't have any solution to Nigerians problems. Next they will do now is to start sharing palliative to selected few. |
You are only entitled to your opinion. Nigerians will continue to aspire to better Nigeria by looking for competent leaders |
The masses of this country will resist you people. You are not talking of how to alleviate the hardship imposed by harsh policy of this administration but bring in more state governors. |
He has collected his own palliative just like that. |
You are now the voice of Niger delta? Continue to deceive yourself. This government has failed |
How many yorubas live in anambra and abia states? The igbos in lagos have the capacity to gather a good number of votes in lagos because of their population in lagos. So it's logical to hold such view. Secondly igbos have immensely invested in lagos by way of acquisition of landed properties but go to anambra and abia states you used as comparison to know how many landed properties you can say it's owned by a yoruba person. So when you want to make comparison use logical comparison. Election has to do with population and aligning interest. CoronaVirusPro: |
This government has disappointed Nigerians. All I see is just paddy paddy government. |
Hope there will not be ringing of bell that only apc should be voted for? |
The governor is among those deceiving Nigerians. The removal of subsidy was done in order to suffer the masses. I don't believe there's anything like subsidy. What we call subsidy today is the difference between international price of fuel and local price of fuel, now it is wrong for the government of Nigeria to make the people in Nigeria pay international price of fuel and at the same time pay local wages or salaries to people resident in Nigeria. Again, the government of tinubu devalued naira through his policy of naira float from # 460 per dollar official rate to around # 1600 per dollar, thereby grossly lessening the purchasing power of the people. Not stopping at that, there is increased drive for tax collection, still aiming at collecting more from the people. Payment of customs duty is pegged at dollar exchange rate which is affected by Naira float, still the government is comfortable with that. What is the rational behind the calculation of customs duty with dollar rate whereas Nigerians are paid with naira. Let the government equate monthly salary to dollar then tell us how many countries are paying that in their country. To my opinion, it is wickedness in the highest order for this government to aggravate the sufferings of the people and still remain comfortable because they have more money to embezzle. |
It's unfortunate that the president is still attempting to deceive and mislead the masses. I'm going to express myself well through the ballot. |

The voice of the people is the voice of God. This government is against the people. |
Tinubu doesn't merit to be re elected. What he is running is palliative government. Enrichment of some apc members under his control. |
Kudos to adc, now a formidable opposition. Nigeria can't exist as a one party state. |
