At the first place there shouldn't have been any Subsidy. The government of nigeria created Subsidy in order to loot the treasury. The exportation of our crude oil and importation of its refined products are what is making us believe there is Subsidy. Dangote has almost completed his refinery in lagos. We still have other refineries in nigeria, let the government of nigeria determine the quantity of petroleum products we need and whether it can be met by our local production. Then we will not be talking about Subsidy anymore if it is locally produced here and distributed. |

Useless government will never go after criminals that harassed, intimidated and stopped innocent law abiding Nigerians in lagos from performing there civic duties. Fani kayode is useless man. What does he do for a living? Political jobber. I blame the federal government of nigeria for allowing agberos to be threatening innocent citizens. Any nigerian who has pvc can vote at his or her polling unit irrespective of his or her state of origin. This is the position of the constitution of the federal republic of nigeria. Those Yorubas who are saying Igbos can't vote in lagos are criminals because the position of the law is very clear on that. We live in lagos and we know and saw what happened. There's no democracy in nigeria. Lagosians were not allowed to vote for their choice. This cannot be called an election but imposition of candidates. If free and fair election is conducted in nigeria and lagos, apc cannot win. In the year 2020, I sold the same sienna 2006 for 1.9m then I bought dollar at 430 naira black market and the cost of clearing the Sienna 2006 was 400k but today I buy black market dollar above 750 naira and the cost of clearing this 2006 Sienna is 1.5 million naira. How can you be comparing the price of a Nigerian used car with that of foreign used (tokumbo) car. Do you know how many years that 2012 Sienna might have driven in nigeria? Stop jumping into matters you know nothing about. Car dealers on this platform will be laughing at you because they know that my price of 5.1m is the prevailing market price. I won't reply you again because it would amount to insult to me having known that you are not familiar with current prevailing market price of tokumbo cars. Stick to your field and stop doing bad belle here. I didn't post my Sienna for you to buy and you are not the type that can buy my Sienna. Kizyte:You are one of those shifting blames. Pos agents are not your problem. Blame the cbn that hasn't circulated enough cash. Everyone needs cash for his or her business whether the person is pos agent or not. Have you noticed that Deposits are no longer coming to banks as it used to be? Even pos agents no longer getting Deposits as it used to be. Real pos agents don't rely on withdrawals from atm machines for their business if not for this scarcity of cash. Are you aware that some traders are refusing money transfers from potential buyers thereby increasing the demand for cash that is already scarce. Are you still are aware that some businesses and individuals who have collected cash from their customers, instead of depositing it at the banks, will refuse to do so, instead they will sell it to pos agents or other business establishments that need cash? Cash that the banks are loading at the atm machines are all coming from the cbn which is not even enough. Solution here is for the cbn to increase cash supply to banks to meet needs of Nigerians. The government, cbn has the statistical data of the amount of cash that Nigerians need but they have not met the demand. From my own analysis, the disadvantages this policy since it is not properly administered out weighs its advantages. The multiplier effects of this policy will result in jobs losses, high cost of running businesses, increase in inflation, naira trading, untold hardship, deaths and increased criminality. 2 Likes |
