Just like how he turned Lagos to one party state, I think he will replicate it in Nigeria at large. If at all Tinubu will exit the scene,I think it is laughable if you think it will be by an election he will conduct and supervise.Tinubu is still the bookmakers favorite to win the election not because of a stellar performance,but it will be another snatch grab and run and this time the 36 state governors will be fully involved.

The House of Representatives has approved a bill seeking to accommodate Lagos State’s 37 Development Area Councils as full-fledged local government areas (LGAs).

If enacted into law, this will increase the total number of LGAs in the state from 20 to 57.

The bill which was among the 42 constitutional amendment bills passed on Wednesday was sponsored by Hon. James Abiodun Faleke (Ikeja Federal Constituency), Hon. Babajimi Benson (Ikorodu Federal Constituency), and Hon. Enitan Dolapo Badru (Lagos Island I Federal Constituency), alongside 19 other lawmakers.

The proposed legislation is titled "A Bill for an Act to Alter the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) to Accommodate the Thirty-Seven (37) Development Area Councils of Lagos State as Full-Fledged Local Government Areas, Increasing the Total Number of Local Government Areas in the Federation to Eight Hundred and Eleven (811), and for Related Matters (HB. 1498)"

It scaled second reading on Wednesday during plenary presided over by deputy speaker, Benjamin Kalu.

If passed into law also, it will bring the total number of local governments in Nigeria to 811 from 774

It will also allow Lagos to officially have the highest number of local governments in Nigeria, surpassing Kano and Katsina states, which currently have 44 and 34 LGAs, respectively.

I will not believe this yet from Òbí,naija politicians and cross carpeting are like 5 and 6, untill 2026
But my candid opinion if Òbí want to have good showing and result in the elections he need to team up with a very credible northern candidate either as the VP or presidential candidate,
That's the only way he can give APC a run for their money.
He should not repeat same mistake he made with Atiku in the last election by not coming together or collaborating.
That's why APC is trying at all cost to gather as many south south and south east Governors to their party,APC is in Panic mode ahead of 2027
If the APC takes south west votes and Obi takes South East votes and they both share South South votes,the North will be their battle grounds
With a good northern candidate on Obi,s side he will surely take Majority of the votes

How much are they charging from warri to Lagos and lagos warri pls,
I tried searching online I couldn't get the price,it takes about 7-8 hrs to travel from Lagos to warri by road on a journey of 416km max which on a good day should not take more than 4.5 hrs on a very good road
The worst road is from Edo State to Delta,u can spend 3-4 hours just on a journey of 100km due to terrible road especially at the Edo by pass to Sapele,it's that crazy, sometimes u spend the whole day on that same stretch of road when it rains,

So refineries under go turnaround maintenance in every 6months?why hasn't Dangote refinery shut down almost a year now of production for turnaround maintenance?stop lying to yourself.the government did a sordid job.half of the money spent has gone into their pockets.

All refineries in the world undergo constant maintenance and that is why it's extremely important for a country like Nigeria to have as many as possible.

Everything must not always be about bad politics and doom wishes.

So you that know so much about refineries your common sense tells u that after spending whopping 1.5 billion dollars to turnaround,u shut it down for another turnaround in 6 months,Dangote built a new refinery for almost a year now we haven't Heard it was shut down for turnaround maintenance.
I don't blame u ,u are a paid online agent by those in government so I expect u to think and reason like those employs and pay u
Good governance isn't for the dullards,this is Nigeria,I don't expect anything less

I said from the beginning until they run this refinery for 9months stretch to 1 yrs before I can believe they truly did a good job on the turnaround maintenance,now about 6 months into the year,they want to shut it down,
