Car Talk › My Experience Driving Interstate In An Electric Car by F122Y(op): 10:14am On Jul 26
When talking about electric cars, a question many Nigerians ask is how they cope on interstate travels. Well, I decided to put mine to the test. On Friday, I drove from Lagos to Ibadan and back in my car, a Changan Qiyuan Q05. Here are some of the things I experienced.
The ride was smooth and quiet, obviously due to the lack of engine noise, I could enjoy my music/radio a lot more.

The seats are very comfortable so I had no problem sitting for the journey to and fro.

The front seats are also heated and ventilated so if my legs were feeling cold I could warm them up and vice versa.

I opened up the panoramic sun roof so my passengers could have a view of the sky. It gave the car a nice convertible feeling.

We got to Ibadan in about 2 hours. My car goes 0-100 km/h in about 7 seconds so it's not slow.

We fulfilled all obligations in Ibadan and set out for Lagos that same Friday. We got to Lagos and I still had about 150km of Range left after the journey.

I never really had plans for interstate travels with this car, it was just meant for going to work and errands. But the car held up very well with the journey.
What do you think? Have you also been worried about the interstate capabilities of electric cars?

One fun fact that a friend made known to me last week was that majority of Nigerians have never driven a brand new car. With the recent increase in flooding all over the country, many Nigerians are no doubt looking for alternatives to their current vehicles. The Toyota Hilux, Toyota's pickup truck model is one of the most popular alternatives. It's loved for its "ruggedness" and high ground clearance, as well as good reliability. However, a 2025 Toyota Hilux will set you back about 100 million naira. This has made many Nigerians to be on the lookout for cheaper alternatives. One of those alternatives is

Programming › Crypto Exchange Patricia Launches Patricia Token by F122Y(op):
What is Patricia Token (PTK)?

Nigerian Startup Patricia has launched what they call the future of seamless trading. The company recently announced on their Social media handles that they are launching their own crypto token called Patricia Token (PTK).

https://www.instagram.com/p/CwFtR01MLQB/?igshid=MmU2YjMzNjRlOQ==

Patricia Token is a crypto token that, according to Patricia backed by the United States Dollar. The startup announced that all outstanding BTC and Naira balances will be recorded in Patricia Token.

A Possible Exit Strategy?

The announcement of Patricia Token (PTK) was seen by many as Patricia preparing an exit strategy, due to Patricia's announcement of a hack a few months ago in which they lost about $2 million(though some sources claim that the hack happened as far back as January 2022). Some of Patricia's followers accused the crypto exchange of trying to abscond with their money as the users of the app are still unable to withdraw their funds. Some users also asked why their consent wasn't sought after before turning their money into Patricia Tokens.

Backed by the USD?

Patricia claims that the Patricia Token(PTK), is backed by the US Dollar, but what exactly does this mean? This means that the token is what is known as a stablecoin, more specifically, a fiat-collateralized stablecoin. This means that the Patricia Token has a reserve of fiat currency(e.g Usd) to serve as collateral assuring the Patricia Token's value. Examples of popular stable coins that a backed by Usd reserves are Tether(USDT) and TrueUSD(TUSD)

Our Predictions

We predict that as soon as Patricia users are given access to the withdrawal of their funds, they will be quick to exchange their Patricia Tokens for fiat currency.

We do not think that Patricia Token will become a staple for payments or exchange of funds.

Homosexuals and Fulanis have something in common. A strong goal to impose their lifestyle on others. Anus is not part of the sexual nor reproductive system. It is in the digestive system. God did not make the anus for sex. It is the highest degree of perversion of your body. It has health complications repercussions. The gays want to impose their lifestyle on others yet they claim to be victims just like the Fulanis. Sin your sin, don't put it across as normal. On one hand Okupe is against homosexuality because of his faith, on the other hand he is saying it is okay because the young man is in France.
