The igm is non reactive for HSV 1 & 2. But the igg was reactive for Hsv 1&2. Two PCR test were conducted in different labs with urine and urethra swab, and and another conducted with blood, but the two PCR shows negative for both Hsv 1 &2 |

A friend had some rashes on genitals and itching as well as sore. He went for HSV2 PCR test twice in different laboratory and the results all said non reactive/ Negative. While the igg test says reactive for HSV2. Which of this test is more accurate. Should he choose the result of Pcr or the Igg results. Doctor or pathologist in the house can you explain |
