The United States president, Donald Trump has announced that the US will be selling more of its agricultural products to Nigeria. This was said during a joint press conference with president Buhari at the Rose garden of the White House today.

Trump revealed that he is negotiating a deal to get American Agricultural products into Nigeria. Yet, both Buhari and Trump indicate that US purchase of Nigerian crude will not increase.

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), more popularly known as “50 Cent”, is an American rapper, actor and businessman,

In the course of his musical career, 50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. He has also won several awards, including a Grammy Award, thirteen Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards and four BET Awards.

In May 2015, Forbes listed Jackson’s net worth at $155 million, ranking the then 40-year-old No. 4 on the list of the wealthiest hip-hop artists.

However, on July 13, 2015, 50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut with a debt of $32,509,549.91

The filing comes just three days after a jury ordered the rapper-actor to pay $5 million to Lastonia Leviston in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit after she claimed he acquired and intentionally leaked a sex tape in which she was featured.

His Connecticut bankruptcy filing states that he owns seven pricey vehicles, including a 2010 Rolls Royce and a 1966 Chevrolet Coupe.

PoliticsRe: 3 Years Of Buhari Is Better Than 8 Years Of Obasanjo - Reno Omokri Reacts by fabianjay101(m): 11:12pm On Apr 15, 2018
SillyMods:
Not only that three years of PMB is better than eight years of OBJ. PMB's three years have been far better than the sixteen years of PDP altogether if we compare apple for apple.

We must consider facts, including the following:
1. Completed infrastructures including roads and housings. In 16 years, PDP didn't complete any major project throughout Nigeria. If it's a lie, kindly bring out the project. On the other hand, PMB has completed Abuja-Kaduna rail project it inherited in less than two years of assuming office. Many major roads have also been completed.

2. In sixteen years, PDP could not improve power generation nor power supply. OBJ spent $16bn on power project, yet NOTHING to show for it. PMB's regime has notably improved generation and distribution of power and we can see the difference.

3. Foreign Reserves - while OBJ built our reserves, GEJ of same PDP found a way to deplete it to around $29bn from $67bn despite earnings of billion dollars from crude sale. PMB, with about 40% earnings compared to GEJ, has built the reserve to above $47bn in less than three years with oil at average of $55 per barrel.

4. Import and export - while PDP's was basically an import driven economy, PMB is changing the orientation as our import has continued to reduce while our export goes up every quarter.

There are more but we will leave you for now.
it's obvious that you know nothing about Nigeria and Nigerian politics, step up kuz you sound to dull for my liking

PoliticsRe: I warned Babaginda that Abacha would overthrow Shonekan – Mbu by fabianjay101(m): 4:23am On Apr 08, 2018
KEVIND:
Nigeria’s ex-Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Matthew Mbu, has stated that he was aware of the plan by the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha to remove Nigeria’s Interim leader, Chief Ernest Shonekan, from office within three months.

Mbu also wrote how Babaginda spared Abacha because he (Abacha) saved him from two coups.

H revealed how he warned Ibrahim Babaginda against handing over to Shonekan because Abacha was going to take over.

This was made public through an autobiography he left behind to be published by his family

The autobiography entitled, “Dignity in Service,” is due for public presentation on Tuesday next week at the Yar’Adua International Conference Centre, Abuja.

In the book, the late diplomat, who was the Foreign Affairs Minister in the government, said he had hint of the coup against Shonekan from the UN but did not specify who the actual person was.

He wrote, “Thereafter, they gave me hints that we would not last more than two to three months in office and that they were going to sack us. I had hints about the eventual takeover by General Abacha from the UN.

“When I came back, I packed all my things as usual but I could neither get Shonekan to understand me, nor even his boss, IBB.

“I said, ‘Don’t make the mistake of handing over to Shonekan; if you do that, in three months, Abacha will take over and Shonekan will be jettisoned from his seat.

“Exactly three months later, it happened. IBB phoned me and said, ‘You said it!’ and I replied, ‘What did I tell you?

“There was an intimate relationship that existed between IBB and Abacha. IBB told me that Abacha had done him favours in the past. He had saved him from two coups.

“Probably that explains why they were so intimate because he was the only one who could come and interrupt him at anytime and stay with him for hours.

“As the foreign affairs minister, I had a lot to do and I could not wait until when IBB was through with Abacha, other ministers could not do it but I could go there at anytime and I would always ask IBB, ‘What is it between you and this man, haven’t you done enough for him?’

“He would reply ‘He did so much for me.'”
