sleekcm: UBN are working on moving on some of their older workers who they feel are out of touch with modern banking trends. This has been difficult and a labour-management tussle is brewing.

So it could take longer than anticipated for them to call for medicals. Things could kick-off by September. This is first hand info.

jidbeg1: D salary is 2.5m per annum. Monthly salary is nt less dan 160k per month. They do pay equivalent to d monthly salary at †he end of TS. Guess dey pay relocation allowance too if sm1 is posted outside Lag.

We forgot abt d process on dis job for abt a yr+,now dt GOD decided to pull us out from d labour Mrkt,we ar telling him to be fast dt we'r lavlishing in Labour mrkt. I suggest we pretend as though we never had d interview n carry on wit our daily activities b4 u knw it,IVs wil begin to roll in. But assuming this UBN people delay, what will happen? As today just mark the end of their 6th week from the end of Lagos interview (June 20).
Though I am absolutely hopeful for today as my phone will be less than 1cm away from me and my mail checked lastest 5pm today.
Just want to hear ur views as the waiting things is ongoing.

thegreatman4ww: I bliv we all av higher chances of being selected because they will need more employees than dat of last year due to planned extension of services as I presume we are not more than 1500 dat were interviewed.

Going by Last year recruitment process. If all interview had been concluded as at July 14 then First Batch
Calls/mails for MEDICAL will start landing from August 2, and
Calls/mails for Training School will start landing from August 9
While Training School will start on August 19.
I am suggesting they will employ less than 500 people.

hmmm...I pray that God will number us among the few.

thegreatman4ww: Their timeline answer for the current interview has been 6-8 weeks. I bliev they will be concluding with PH and Abuja by Tomorrow. So for Lagos candidates let hopes for next week or next two weeks (Mon 22 Jul - Sun 4 Aug.) for PH and Abuja some may be called with Lagos else start counting ur 6-8 weeks from next week.

thegreatman4ww: Thanks PH and Abuja prospective union bank employees. For Lagos, interview ended June 22, so 6th week start from Monday July 29, let patiently wait for them. As for me I will call them next week if I dont hear from them because their 8 weeks ends next week as I did mine on June 1st. wishing us "impending good news"

sleekcm: I was part of the Assessment on the 10th of July in PH. I believe their standard timeline is 6-8 weeks. That was the instruction they passed on. Personally, I'm pretty confident of my display. I insisted on throwing a question at the assessors after the discussion session. The DGM Port-Harcourt region took the best part of 5 minutes to respond. Mission accomplished.

Let keep posted; they should contact us after Abj and PH interviews btw July 21 and August 16 (6-8 weeks from June 20 that they told easy4beno).
