Both foreign and local. May God continue to bless Mr Oluwaseun Osewa. On this note I will like to wish Nairaland a happy birth month Please share what you have gained on Nairaland and let's celebrate in style. cc; lalasticlala |
Family › Things A Typical Nigerian Parent Won't Accept From Western Culture by Faceville(op): 6:13pm On Mar 02, 2018 |
Let me just go straight to the point. 1. Physical punishment. Weastern culture will say its child abuse and some will even report you to the police. In Nigeria, the police dey look for whom to punish. So just pray as a child that you jejely receive the punishment from your parents. This point is a fact in every Nigerian home and I don't see it leaving anytime soon. 2. Flogging Some parents will quote the bible here, that "if you spear the rod you will spoil the child". I actually have my own share of this sha 3. Clubbing Even as adults we often lie to cover our going out especially clubbing. 4. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend and bringing such person home Lol. This is a really serious case with Nigerian Parents ohh. Unless you want to answer heavenly questions 5. Please add yours! |

Pavore9: The need for money but the law courts You speak of the law because they collected 10k. But you praise your politicians when they embezzle and give you salt or bag of rice. Trust me you are worse. |

Pavore9: It is not about judging as this is not a case of helping out someone in need but the duo's criminal intent. Ignoring the criminality is reaffirmation. You can say that because policemen extorts N50 on the road, should your car get stolen you wouldn't report it to the Police.
You save others from being swindled by having those ladies stopped. It's the job of police sir. Know your right. |

az30: The lies that they told would be their portion in Jesus name? Quit using that sacred name to declare words from your evil human heart in anticipation that they would come to pass. The desires of divinity and humanity are far separated. Look at yourself very well. You have told more horrible lies but it wasn't your portion because same Jesus you proclaim to take action is Same Jesus that gave you second chance. |

Akposb: You probably know the history of their relationship? What if the wife is aware that the man cheats? My own thought is that you might just cause a situation that may affect you in a wrong way. I hate cheating hence would not encourage it. Also, you can hope better for yourself, a faithful man does not deserve a cheater for a wife. History or not sir. I have their wedding pictures I know it's not from the wife. The man deserves to be punished because anyone can be in same situ. |

If you want to help, Gather intelligence report with proof/concrete evidence, then give them to his wife after recovery then watch as the drama unfold. I wish I had that time. I just feel this man needs to pay for what he is doing. Mehn Men the wife dey hospital ohh |
