The most viable option for the North now is Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Constitutionally, he has one more term and that can give the North the chance to get back to power in 2031. Any move to make Obi the leading figure is dead on arrival. The North will prefer to take the risk of an Atiku ahead of Obi because take it or leave it, Atiku is a bigger force than Obi.
