Deicide:Maybe the only port open for connection is the 5g and your phone is not able to connect to a 5g. So ask for the IP address of your router from your installer then log in on your laptop and open the 2.5 connecting port or simply call the cc... |
Betnomore:Dear friend. Honestly I didn't want to write you because I do not know you or the fellow you wrote to. But may I please advice you if you don't mind, there is nothing wrong being young like we all were at some point. As your post shows you are still young, I should say to you, no need coming to the public to express your experience dealings or young lad attitude. Sure I only read above but not sure what may have transpired btw both of you but learn to stay calm, learn people, public relationships and expressions and move on perticularly in public. You are not sure of the age, capacity, exposure, level of wealth/packaging, education and or status of the other person expecially when behind the keyboard as this. You or him may not be able to address each other hashly physically regardless the anger or style of dealing so I advice you to always look away if style of talk, proposal or volume of value does not tally with you... Again, I don't know both of you but no need for this last public expression really. Someone already typed above "I miss the days of etc" just after one of your writeup and that means alot. Meanwhile, congrats on your new purchase and make sure to enjoy same after proper installation... As per your question, what people are going for now are the energy savers. Qasa or the likes. There is also the ceiling version but not sure now but standing would serve you right if and when placed at the right corner for use |
bassdow:You can actually use log type called the Pin Log. I saw your response below. That's may not be fully correct. If you get the appropriate Pin Log for the cable size, you won't need to shred off part of the strands. The "cup" takes the full cable strands while the pin side goes into the right connecting hole/point. Same for the ring type |
Edrizz:If it's the industrial type, it comes with galvanized or brazz metal cube and screw inside the plastic so rust will be a long time issue. To reduce the rust rate, yes tape it. You should get it same place you got this. But the screw will slack over time dew to heat expansion and reduction from current flow in the cable.
|
fuckboys:Even if you Wan use this type, use the industrial one but the problem be say after some months, u must go back and re tighten the screws. So better to use the right connectors or solder like say u dey manufacture lead. Waste lead on the joints as already adviced that's if you fit draw power to the roof to power the soldering iron... Lol. Original lead though! |
oweniwe:My dear friend, please stop putting out wrong information due to your singular experience. That you bought a car and it got involved in an accident doesn't mean all cars must... Just an instance OK.. I have used my currently 5kw sachet inverter for a while now powering my AC+2bigTV +fans + lightings or 1fridge+1freezer+2bigtv+ligtings etc without issues. Infact 4years now. Earlier I used 3kw with not issues too.. You can check by pages behind or search. Know over 6persons here using same sachet inverter and 2 of them use same 5kw This does not imply transformer based are bad but if you don't mind it's self consumption. But again, why burn energy redundantly without beneficial use |
bassdow:Changing that requires taking out the board and soldingring the other end. Would handle myself when I would be ready. First is to use a brush, the iron part of the pencil brush is taped off to avoid bridging of any kind, then blower was used. Job done already and put back to service... |
Dear Techees and DIYers, I did like to say Happy New year to those who may have crossed over and Happy New Year in advance to those counting down... Just today, I thought it required to isolate my system in bits for checks, tightening and dust blowing off starting with my Charge Controller with pictures attached. However, I found something worthy of monitoring. The Battery negative line appears to be burning gradually from the inside. Gradually I mean after about 3years. I may have to monitor this over time and consider changing... This is just to share and remind us to prepare our systems for yet another year for optimization and or any words/contribution

cutefy:Greetings to you Cutefy, Its a 5kw Modular/Sachet Easun inverter i think I had shared the picture on this account or my lost acct "Contease". Just type either moniker on the search of NL you must see. I am out of the house for work am sorry... |
HeavenlyBang:Heavenly, you can say that again. Cable quality in NIGERIA is out of control. I went to buy another 16mm to make some small upgrade, just as a premonition, I took a short lent of my current 10mm along. The total strands of the 16mm I was offered was not even up to the strands of the 10mm I was holding but the insulation/wrap of this supposed 16mm was making it all looking like a 25mm cable. Went round and it was all same mess. Had to improvise by using the two core as 1core for each +- lines... How did we get here in just everything... |

Fakeisfake:Dears, Just FYI only for those who wants to know, I tried the pump this morning and it all went fine. 45min plus or minus water was full and no issues.. I forgot to check the current rush or lets say I couldn't do much findings alone because I live upstairs, pump switch downstairs and family gone to church... All I wanted to do was just to test the pump while downstairs looking at the only bulb outside when I turned on the pump and there was no blink. It's the EAsun modular inverter anyways... because some of the modular inverters are not really pure sine wave just for the info... |
durodee:Yes I got it from Nnamdi here on this forum as recommended by my dear good NL TrippleDot now turned friend. Everytime I have the opportunity, I did like to thank these guys real good like demi gods as someone here said I make them feel.. Lol Meanwhile I found a way to check and the pump is just 1hp which I plan to try out tomorrow Saturday. If the inverter could do non-inverter AC of 1.5hp and other kitchen appliances, I think this pump would be Bravi too on the moduler inverter. |
bassdow:Yes I have got family sir. After school, everyone are home including weekends while I work away from home... |
bassdow:Yes it's a submersible pump with the capacitor box on the wall of the building under the weather, rain and sun so all details have been eroded. But I will try one of these days. |
Haykay2001:Well, earlier I promised to try this but really have not had the time. I am hardly home. Secondly I checked for the capacity of the pumping machine, no one seem to have an idea and I don't have the time to start a turn on turn off since I leave at the upper floor and needing to first establish a temporary wiring or use multi meter etc. Maybe when I will be home during vacation I may pay attention to it. But honestly I don't care much about this. It's a 24v 5000W unit |
bassdow:With Tubulars, I could not use AC, Microwave or WM after sunset. But as indicated, I started using Lithium from Mr Reed 2months ago, I use Microwave and or AC before leaving for work as early as 530am but have not used the group pumping machine on it considering my security does all that so have had no reason to think in that direction may be I will next weekend.. |
BigDickProblems:Why change what works really. My idea at the time was, if other cost 5times, I could use this and change when needed and honestly this has lasted way beyound my thoughts. Kudus to Nnamdi here... My funny but serious comment before use then was, "I regret placing order for an item weighing less than a bottling water which obviously will not last" 4years ago.... Lol |
BigDickProblems:Hahaha, Nice question really but am not sure why the question if you are getting good backup and good use. I have been using Sachet inverter for close to 4years - 5000W which is 5kw and it's serviced me more than enough at this point without troubling of its self consumption which is tremendously and significantly low with Tubulars until I got 8.3kwh lithium about two months ago and still serving. Infact, one famous fellow here introduced me to it and he is using precisely same 5000w as we both stress it with microwave, AC, WM, fridge, freezer to it's max with no complain no regrets through and through... |
pcicero:. hello, please where you able to get the pdf of this book? if yes please could you share... |
bassdow:Dear Bossdow, Personally, for once I think I like the manner of your response without a counter attack and or emotions. Physically I think you are a nice fellow becos while the drama was on, I remember calling you and a few NLders for the first and only time for some bms data interpretations and you were raw/simple, apt and direct even with the declaration of the fact that u have never used lithium yet your explanation was true, timely and right after I rechecked. The only concern I think is the fact that u repeat the stories with an insisting attitude or gesture... Yes in trying to make a point of sellers/installers ripping others off, you don't like that, ofcos nobody does, but give your advice and leave it at that in my opinion. Lastly, if old technologies work for you, put it out there and leave it at that without the supposed gesture of trying to make everyone buy into the idea of being stock in the past. Understand this, change is the only constant thing, adopting changes can be a problem and only a problem of fear of the unknown, once adopted and it works, trust me, you will want to continue with it so please, let people see your advice and decide if to take same or not because the world is moving and very fast at that. Again, keep being great as I experienced talking with you my dear brother! |
Fakeisfake:any info on this please? |
oliverjiad: |
Chief, how much would you clear 1. 2014 CLS 450 2. 2014/2015 BMW X1 Kindly advise on the most cost friendly way to ship.... not sure what Compromised/Full mean. |
HeavenlyBang:Bossdow, why your system dey copy cat mine. Jokes.... 😁 Got home to see 51% precisely... I suspect you tapped from my display.... Another jokes.... Let's progress the discussion from weather condition please... So far so good I should say... The sun power is the answer. Heavenly, I am looking at you as the Sabinus Knower of our time... Enjoy! |
HeavenlyBang:You are right. I see sun while sitting in the office thinking that should be enough. But not on getting home. Had to just wash my panels since they are at easy reach. Yet no improvement... System may resort to grid, via Dry Contact on cc tonight if not already before I get home. |
Oh dear, It has now become more childish than should be. Guys, unhealthy response begets another. May we change the sub-topic. IS THE WEATHER TREATING EVERYONE'S DAILY PANEL YIELD NEGATIVELY (POOR YIELD) LIKE IT'S HAPPENING IN MY SOUTHERN VISCINITY IN THE PAST 3DAYS? |
AinsSama:Yes modified. Was my typing error. With the way both chemistry works, really I now think the application of LA is not for inverter use, maybe for "kazeen" to jump start or just for lighting point without heavy loads... Anyway, seen alot of arguments of comparison, let's not start it again and share better experiences for people to decide solely by self |
Tdoctor:Bros, this was my problem with Lead Acid too... I became a "manager of power sagging management" with LA until I got Lithium I didn't know life is this sweet.. Imagine at evening after work, fridge is on, family is microwaving, in the morning as early as 6am they are microwaving for school and me going to work yet lithium stands strong without sagging but gradual diplation... Please why is Lead Acid still in the market? |
ask4bk:If these would be his latest prices, even when you have indicated they are not real prices, I must say they are competitive, but again, he has to own these prices then nothing to shy off from regardless... |
FEGEITOK:You can simply check Temu. There are alot of meter types ranging from Unit, to amperage or kwh meters... Make your choice but do not forget to get a meter that can also track and trip over usage before they will plug in bread baking oven and destroy your gadgets |
Oga Bassdow, My apologies if this is coming late. I get a bit fatigued writting here becos when I start, I just keep going as you. I don't know who writes more bwt you and I in lenght though... Lol... Na jokes abeg... Meanwhile, I followed all your idea about inverter that functions without battery and your intension to have same taking direction from the panels or something like that. Just to draw to your attention, my cc, Ashapower has a function such that once the battery passes certain thresthold, it indicates with a blue light, not necessarily indication battery is full. At such time, what I do is to check if my uv gives me more wattage than my Air Conditioner, if yes, then I power the AC and it stay on pv till it gets cloudy to draw from the battery with a beep. You can check the manual on line to see. I once posted the manual and a few of its inverter-like functions on my old account but it's still available on Amazon.in.. Am giving this info just to water your idea the more and see what you make of it |
